I will return to Ximun Bush Lodge. The house, the amenities and the privacy are truly exceptional. The caregiver is truly an outstanding employee.
This is a special place for us and will definitely return on a regular basis. Friendliness and thoughtfulness of owner and caretaker is to mention, other places do not have this type of human relations. I thank them for their trust and the way we were made welcome. Excellent service.
Wonderful tranquility. With so many animals around you while you cool down deliciously in the swimming pool or grill some meat. Place is very big and tidy. Will definitely check in here again.

Everything was very neat and clean. The owner can only look at the stove, because the oven did not want to work and was not clean. New plates and cutlery would be welcome as the ones there are cracked and chipped. Salad bowls and plastic bowls are not there at all and neither is a bowl to put the barbecue meat in. I hope this is seen as a positive comment because I will definitely want to stay there again.
We just had trouble getting in touch with the caretaker of the house but otherwise everything was great.
Very nice place to stay. All the bedrooms were en-suite, the kids loved the pool where we could relax and braai. Everything we needed was there. Will definitely go back.
Our family really enjoyed the holiday at Ximun. The house is very neat and equipped with everything you need. The caretaker is very helpful and went out of his way to ensure comfort.
This place has so much potential and can really be very pleasant. However, the neatness was a problem for me, and I really feel they can pay more attention. The kitchen cabinets were not very clean and acceptable to me. The coffee cups are chipped and the crockery is very scarce, we had to buy long glasses for our drinks. There are also not really any serving bowls and braai utensils and they claim to be fully equipped. If a few things can be refurbished, this is a very nice and spacious place to go.
Everything was fine and the supervisor, Noel, provided 5 star service. The air conditioning and swimming pool saved us from the 40°C temperature.
The lodge met all our needs. We took everything you could think of to need but it was unnecessary because everything was there. Cleaning service, cleaning products, mosquito nets, Doom etc. Even bicycles, ice machine, you name it it was there. Giraffes, kudus, impalas and other animals and birds visited us.
