91 guests' feedbackThe house exceeded all our expectations. Upon walking in, the place made us feel at home. The wide corridor and the wooden floors impressed us until the last day. Space is in abundance, every room is XXL size! The first sunset had us speechless. We took more photos that afternoon than any day on the trip. Every sunset was unique, even on a cloudy day. The mornings were made special by a school of dolphins frolicking in the surf. The accommodation at Yield House on Beach Road Port Nolloth is definitely on our list of places to go back to.
The most refreshing apartment on the ocean's doorstep. Our stay was most pleasant. Staff were helpful and friendly.

As usual it was a pleasure to stay there. Dee's human relationship with guests is top notch. The location with sea view is breathtaking. The WiFi reception was quite disturbing with the constant dropouts.
Many thanks to Dee and her team - we had a wonderful time and they really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Had a wonderful experience with dolphins who frolicked in the water right in front of us for almost an hour while we quietly enjoyed a glass of wine. As there were no guests on the second night, we were treated to access to the entire guesthouse's facilities - at no further cost!

The cottage is very basic. Would not recommend if you are looking for a little pampering. No WiFi available. If you just want to sleep over this is a place to stay.
Towels not clean and have marks on them. Give 1 toilet roll. Dishwasher leaking inside. No clothesline to hang towels, for example.

Large house with enough sleeping and bathing space. On the sea with a large veranda everything at hand. Friendly hostess and even willing for us to use her washing machine.
I was there a little early but the lady sacrificed time to come and receive us. She was very friendly and helpful.
Yield House on Beach Road is perfectly located on the beach in Port Nolloth with fantastic views. In the mornings you can see dolphins frolicking, also close to restaurants and shopping center. Very well equipped.
The sea is right opposite the house. You don't have to worry about thugs, it's very safe and nice to stay there.

Yield House is a stately, peaceful house with enough space for 10 people to hang out comfortably. Everything needed to make it a comfortable and carefree visit. Was there with 2 other couples so a total of 6 adults and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the rooms, lounge and living rooms with all the necessary barbeque and cooking facilities needed to keep a larger group comfortable. Would recommend anytime for larger groups wanting a quiet West Coast getaway.

The cottage is separate from the main house and well equipped although not fully self catering but there was cutlery, plates, a kettle, fridge and microwave which is good enough for the basics. The shower was hot, which was a big plus in the cold.

We looked for a small resting space and this accommodation did not fail.
The Yield House (main house) is beautiful with a breathtaking view. Suitable for a large family/group who can comfortably stay at home for a long holiday and there is enough space without stepping on each other. The cottage, however, is the type of place where two people can comfortably sleep over for one or two nights maximum. It's a cramped area with no view at the back of the closed yard. Other than that it has everything needed for a short stay and is centrally located.

The accommodation was not at all what we thought it would be. I didn't think the room behind the main house was so small. It was dirty in our eyes and did not feel that it was value for money at all. Couldn't even get hold of the owner and had to contact website to help and then didn't even have a very friendly welcome. Was quite disappointed.

We got an unexpected surprise when we got the house to stay in, although we booked the cottage. The indoor braai was lovely as it was quite windy. Spectacular views from a few rooms in the house. The stoep was the cherry on the cake as we could enjoy the incredible sunset.

The romantic and shaded Italian-styled courtyard makes up for having no sea view and we were very happy there. If it weren't for a trio of constantly night-barking Jack Russels across the road, it would have been a near-perfect stay.
Mosquitos was a major issue as well as ventilation in the cabin. There were no fans in the cabin. We had to sleep with the door open, which in turn was a safety issue.
Couldn't see the sea at all as we stayed in a room behind the house. We were under the impression we were going to stay in a house with a sea view but to our surprise we were booked in a room at the back of the yard.
The bathroom is dirty and stinks of urine. Does the toilet seem to be leaking? It completely put us off.

We were kindly received by Dee on arrival. The rooms of the house are very spacious and comfortable. The view over the sea although foggy was still something to look forward to. Everything was neat and clean and since the evenings were cool extra warm was used. The indoor barbecue was very welcome in the foggy weather. We will stay again.
We stayed in the apartment and it's a lovely little sheltered and comfortably furnished in the back garden. With its own sitting and braai area and secluded by a half wall, it is set up for comfort and the privacy was just what we needed. The main house with its unobstructed view of the sea from the porch and living room, makes the house a haven where you can relax with family and friends or with a good book and just enjoy your surroundings. It is walking distance from the main part of town and restaurants, making it convenient to leave your vehicle in the garage and explore the area on foot. With its comfort, decor and location, Yield House is an absolute gem in this beach town.

Classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. If you look on Google maps or from outside it looks a little run down, but boy the inside is amazing farm style decor, and views are to die for. Rooms are spacious and the 4 rooms can accommodate 2 couples in two queen beds and 4 kids in single beds. Friendliness of Dee and Mandy is faultless, even went above the call of duty to accommodate us. We were shocked at the supply of DStv full package and WiFi internet (even if we didn't use it, but DStv is nice for kids at night). Not that we used the oven if I had to find fault it would be that it needs a good clean. Please keep this place going. I'm definitely coming back.

The accommodation is well planned out and there's enough space. The house is full of dust and had a mouldy smell. It wasn't neat of warm at all. No one came to check on us. We also didn't have enough toilet paper.

We loved the accommodation! The location was perfect and the village surpassed our expectations. We so wished we had booked for another night.
The spacious bathroom and outside laundry and dining area were definite plus points. It was a big bonus that our car could stand in the garage during our stay. The location is great and everything was within walking distance. Another bonus was the free WiFi we could use, just when my husband needed it for an urgent assignment. My only need was a broom and a lid for the bin outside.
We had a wonderful stay and could not have made a better choice for the price, the view is beautiful, dolphins play in the water and the surroundings all along the sea are clean and tidy. We are happy to recommend Yield House and will also pass on the information to our guests who come to spend the night at Kokerboom Lodge Keimoes. We will definitely go again if time permits and then not just for 2 nights.
It was wonderful to see the sea from the bed. The tranquility was wonderful, just what we needed. However, the house is way too big for 2 people, but the fact that it was pet friendly was our consideration. Would go there again anytime for a quick getaway from the hot Kalahari part of the Northern Cape.

We couldn't find anything to complain about. The perfect overnight accommodation for us. We were in the back room and whole booking process was flawless.

I slept in the cottage for 2 nights. Very neat, private and comfortable for 1 or 2 people. Couldn't spend much time outside though due to the cold and windy weather conditions. Overall, it's a nice place to spend the night.

We stayed in the Cottage, which is very nice for 1 or 2 people. However, it is not suitable for a long holiday because the cooking facilities are too small. Other than that it was very nice and it is walking distance from the sea and also very safe.
