York House B&B, the hosts are very accommodating and even allowed us to enjoy the bokke game with them. We will definitely visit again. All our family that joined us agree that this accommodation is worth returning to and recommending to friends and family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and for accommodating all my last minute requests so effortlessly.
Was comfortable and quiet.
From booking in we met the warm welcome at York House B&B. The owners Graham and Debbie interact with all the guests. York House was always clean and the staff was always friendly, helpful. They also avail their kitchen to prepare our goods for the Comrades.
The environment was beautiful and neat, there was no privacy as we were sleeping on the same room with our children.
Basic needs were there.
We arrived late but were received kindly. Everything was neat and clean and comfortable. Caretaker wad very helpful and friendly.
I will definitely encourage people to visit York House B&B.
My original reservation, which had already been paid for, was changed at the last minute to a room we didn't want. The room smelled strongly of moth poison. The shower was too hot or cold, even though we followed the instruction to open the shower only on hot. My child and husband showered in cold water, and I showered in boiling water. The place is nice clean and tidy. Very unhappy about changing our booking. We also had to insist on moving another single bed into our room, Debbie wanted my daughter to sleep on the carpet on a mattress! Imagine that. Very unprofessional to change a confirmed and paid booking. The places should not be allowed to do this!
We enjoyed our weeks stay at York House B&B while visiting family in the area. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a fridge and tea station. Beautiful gardens and very friendly hosts. Was perfect.

Always being updated on the location and the environment of this wonderful B&B. The best experience for any visitor to keep the secret about the venue and the facility. The refreshing pool and the inviting vegetation far exceed the expectation of any visitor.

Owner and his wife are both very interesting and helpful people who chat with you and bond quickly. The rooms were very tidy and we were delighted. We also feel very safe throughout the day and your car is also safe at night. I strongly recommend the place.
The accommodation was exaclty as expected after we read the reviews. The rooms are inside the house and not all of them are en suite. WiFi was still a problem as indicated in previous reviews.
Very friendly reception, neat and beautiful room. The room is advertised with an en-suite bathroom though, but the bathroom is seperate. You have to walk out of the room past the other room doors to visit the bathroom. It wasn't what we booked.
York House offered comfortable accommodation and a friendly and safe environment close to shops and restaurants. The owners also provided meals on request.

Quiet environment with excellent service.
The location was a bit far from the beach.
Although clean and secure the rooms are inside the owner's house. No separate entrance. We asked for self-catering but our rooms had a microwave only, no stove. Not convenient. One of the rooms didn't have an en-suite bathroom.
We have enjoyed our holidays there and we will go back again.
Graham, the host, was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Location is excellent and quiet environment. Parking is a bit tight but Graham made good arrangements. Will definitely stay there again.
Hospitality is the best, you don't even realize you're away from home
Breakfast very nice. Quiet area, yet next to the M13.
Not a very happy experience.
Room was nice enough. Aircon would be a plus as the ceiling fan was not very effective. They advertise secure parking, but there is limited parking available and we had to park behind others (and were parked in). The breakfast price must be updated, as it was advertised at the time of our booking as being R65 on their website, but we were charged R75.
Very pleasant host and hostess who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Sorry, we only stayed one night; I would love to stay longer.
The owners are very nice and the venue is peaceful. Great place to go and relax.
