Zandriver offers 2 private cottages and the Zandriver Main House as well as Kloofhuis. This offers the guests an opportunity to either get away from it all or be part of farm life. Children are encouraged to interact with our animals, perhaps milk a cow, feed the horses, help shear a sheep or watch a lambing in season.
The farm offers a relaxing environment. Situated approximately 1200 m above sea level, it enjoys snowfall during most winters, especially during July and August. There are walking trails on the farm, lots of scope for mountain biking or biking into the nearby Seweweekspoort, and birders will have a field day listing our many bird species.

124 guests' feedbackOf all the establishments we have stayed at, this one stood out from an overall experience perspective.
Loved it. Peaceful with stunning views.
Fantastic it is heavenly beautiful!
The stay was beautiful! We stayed in Kloofhuis and the cottage is very tastefully furnished. We didn't need anything more. The home-baked bread, farm butter, jam and milk were a bonus. Ben's communication was great and nothing is too much trouble for him. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would recommend Zandrivier anytime!
Kloofhuis is a beautiful place! Everything you could possibly need is there. And Sanna's fresh, warm baked bread with butter and jam is 'to die for'. Delicious! The fireplace was already burning when we got there. Problem with the geyser quickly sorted out and had a nice chat. He has the most beautiful bunch of dogs, all 8! There is WiFi which works great. No TV, but we don't mind. Beautiful nature. Sheep camps had the most beautiful lambs and mothers. Wood is provided at no extra cost. So, fireplace and barbecue outside is no problem. Bring your food and drink, because there are no shops nearby! Will definitely go back if chance presents itself. Thank you!
Great place. Service of host 100%. Nice fire in the fireplace and delicious bread.
The stay was great! We were at home in Kloofhuis and the cottage is very well furnished. The fireplace was already on when we arrived in rainy weather and Ben surprised us with a delicious home-baked sandwich from Sanna as well as butter, jam and milk. He also brought some extra wood. The shower is just the most beautiful there is with the window looking out on the mountain. The yard is fenced which was favorable for our 2 dogs and there is a lot of natural vegetation. We will definitely stay there again one day and can definitely recommend it!
Loved every minute of my stay and look forward to visiting again.
What a beautiful piece of heaven! The location is stunning! The room was very nice with a lovely warm fireplace and the bath was wonderfully luxurious! Really regretted our visit could not be longer, was not ready to drive. Sanna's bread was very tasty, thank you very much.
What an idyllic setting. We stayed in the Kloofhuis and it was food for the soul. When we arrived, the fireplace was already warming up the space, and a fresh bread with jam and butter was neatly wrapped up in the kitchen. The host came to greet us with furry friends in tow and made us feel so welcome. The views and serene landscapes provided a much-needed breather from city life, and the stars were pure magic. We wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely be back!
It was brilliant. Ben was accommodating to all our needs, providing firewood and making our stay there exceptional.
We stayed 2 nights in Kloofhuis. When we arrived, our fireplace was already burning, now that's good service in that cold weather. We were able to park right in front of the unit which made packing and unpacking very convenient. The unit was beautiful with lots of windows and very special, it had a unique view from every room, whether it was over the mountains or over the sheep, or just over the porch. It was unique. You felt like you were outside the whole time. There was a large veranda with a table and chair where you could relax and admire your beautiful view. There was a barbecue area on the grass, which you could use to barbecue your meat. We provided our own braai wood. The unit was really nice, and the open plan unit consisted of a sitting, dining and sleeping area. The bed had a good quality mattress with white linen and a nice thick warm blanket. In the living area was a table with 2 chairs where you could comfortably sit and eat. There were also 2 easy chairs in front of the fireplace. Here it was the most delicious. The host provided us with 2 crates of fire wood. The fireplace made the room warm and cozy. The bathroom had a large shower, sink and a toilet in the corner. There was hand soap at the sink and 2 large white bath towels were provided. It would have been nice to have a hand towel by the sink. The kitchen had a large fridge, gas stove and microwave oven, a variety of glasses, other crockery and cutlery were provided. There was coffee, tea and sugar in the kitchen. On arrival, 2 small children brought us a tray with a fresh warm bun, fresh milk (which was a blessing, because I forgot my milk the day before at the guest house in Calitzdorp), nice butter and fig jam. Thank you very much, it was a great treat. There was excellent WiFi the entire time and we were able to use our cell phones with ease. The beautiful garden is well maintained with a nice large lawn. The entire area around the unit was fenced and it was very safe for your pets, they could run around with ease and safety. There were also security lights all around the unit that went on with movement. It was a peace of mind and we felt very safe. We had a great time staying on the farm and we can recommend the accommodation as excellent accommodation. We had good communication with the friendly host as well as directions to the unit which we appreciated. We will definitely use the accommodation again. Thank you Zandrivier for the unforgettable experience on your beautiful farm, it was soul food for us. Note that there is not a TV with exclusive DStv as advertised and mentioned in the description.
Very nice stay. The service was very good and the place and surroundings unforgettably beautiful.
Zandrivier Farm Self-catering Accommodation: Lovely home on the most beautiful farm between the Swart and the Elandsberge. Breathtaking views. Hospitable reception and nice pampering with farm products. Nice warm fireplace/stofie with enough wood - thank you very much!
Zandrivier Farm is a must visit! We were upgraded to the "Kloofhuis". It is a perfect setting with a cozy fireplace. Really well equipped cottage with everything you need. The crate of firewood and the complimentary freshly baked farm bread, butter and homemade jam were the icing on the cake. Thank you for your hospitality.
Fabulous! It was a real Karoo experience which we loved. The cottage is beautiful and has a great slow combustion fireplace which was well appreciated in the winter evening. There is nothing like a Karoo sunset which was amazing. The morning was great with the sound of farm life rising to the coming sunshine. The host was great and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
Great visit in a beautiful area. Beautiful decor in the old farmhouses, lovely fireplace that can burn all day. Excellent service.
We enjoyed the hiking trails on the farm and a day trip to Gamkapoort Dam. The accommodation was lovely. The fireplace was a winner, and the host gave us unlimited wood and farm bread!
Wonderful from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect. The freshly baked bread was a treat, and the cottage was magical. Ben helped light our fireplace, and we lay on the grass stargazing. A perfect stay.
Yes, nice stay, peaceful in the natural beauty.
From the beautiful Karoo vistas and comforting farmyard sounds to the homebaked bread and late summer roses on the table - memorable! Comfort is definitely a priority here. Will definitely visit again to explore the beautiful setting further.
Beautiful. Bergzicht is an old farm cottage with a view of the fields and mountains. The fresh farm bread with butter, homemade jam, milk, and an ample supply of firewood made us feel very welcome. Ben was friendly and helpful. Both possible routes to the farm - either through the Seweweekspoort or the road from Laingsburg - offer spectacular scenery.
We only stayed one night but would like to stay longer in the future to explore more of the area. Peaceful farm stay with friendly people and delicious warm bread and jam was a winner, thank you! Everything was clean and tidy. We could go hiking up the mountain and cycling in the pass.
Thank you for a wonderful country experience on a very beautiful farm - it exceeded expectations!
Excellent! Tranquil, beautiful location, friendly reception by the host, tasty, fresh bread baked on site by Sanna, warm, despite the cold, due to ample supply of wood supplied by the host, and a very efficient oven heater!
The tranquility and beauty of the surroundings can really be recommended.
The area is breathtakingly beautiful. It is very safe, beautiful and quiet. The natural beauty is truly something to experience. The accommodation is really very neat and clean with everything you could possibly need. It was cold and rainy when we visited. Ben made sure we had enough wood for the barbecue and the fireplace. We got a freshly baked bread with butter and jam and even milk for our coffee. The hospitality is indescribable and remarkable.
What an absolutely amazing place. I recommend this place to anyone who would ever want to see the Seweweekspoort as this is a must in your lifetime. This place made me relax, and I hope to visit again next year.
The stay was everything we hoped for. The beautiful landscape, silence, the farm atmosphere and hospitality were priceless.
See stars.
Ben was very helpful and the farm was a lovely getaway. Would definitely recommend - for the dogs and kids the walk to the waterfall was the highlight!
Very nice stay! The view from Ben's Cottage is beautiful with the most enjoyable visit and barbecue area outside. The farm activities and animal sounds are fun to experience! Sanna's bread was excellent! and the delivery with butter, jam and milk! You don't get it anywhere else. Many, many thanks!
Had a lovely fireplace on a very cold evening which was already burning when we arrived. Extra wood was provided for the cold. Sandwich was delicious. Extra bonus was when we woke up to snow on the black mountains.
Warmly received with freshly baked bread, butter and jam waiting for our arrival. Peaceful working farm where animals just co-exist and humans can unwind. Great advice and information on the area and walks in the immediate vicinity. Cosy warm cottage. Beautiful stay.
Convenient stop over from Cederberg, before travelling through beautiful Seweweeksport Pass. Good communication with Ben, and lovely homemade bread, butter & jam in our cottage for our arrival. We chose the wrong accommodation, as it was completely open plan with little curtaining, but that was our fault. We know for next time.
We had a very nice stay, very peaceful. It was just very hot in the cottage, maybe they can think of putting in a fan.
Beautiful location! Great stay, just too short! The Breezicht unit is 2 parts that are connected with an outer step. Kitchen and bedroom in one and bedroom and bathroom in the other part. (However, with the cold, wet weather, one does not want to trade the cozy heat in front of the fireplace for the cold road outside to the bathroom/toilet.)
It was real farm life. It was quiet, beautiful and peaceful.
Lovely there in the mountains. Just didn't know where to check in, and didn't know if we should go directly to the cottage. Reception can improve.
Lovely and wonderful stay. Delicious home-baked bread.
Our second visit, but not the last! We were hospitably received with a delicious freshly baked bread. The delicious freshly picked cherries were the proverbial icing on the cake. Thank you very much! One piece of advice: A shower cubicle will make it more comfortable for older guests who can no longer get in and out of a bath as easily.
House is really special and well equipped with everything you need, up to a fireplace and in addition braai wood for free and more than enough. The icing on the cake was the delicious freshly baked bread and farm butter. We will definitely go again and for more than one night. Will definitely recommend to all our friends and family.
The home-baked bread was the cherry on top. A beautiful space with everything one needs. Well worth the visit.
It was a very cold weekend. Benjamin made sure we had enough firewood to heat the living area for the weekend. Along with this, Sanna left a warm baked bread in the kitchen. We immediately felt at home.
I am sorry that we could not stay longer as one day was definitely not enough to explore the farm and the area. The Seweweeks Pass was one of the highlights of our 5600 km road trip. The area is beautiful, peaceful and well worth a visit. We can highly recommend the Zandrivier Farm and will definitely be back at some stage to explore the area properly.
The location is very good and the farm was easily accessible, not hard to find at all. It's just before the Sevenweekspoort pass from Laingsburg's side. The little house, Ben's Cottage, is something special, which we really liked. The view from the cottage over the fields to the mountains is something special and breathtaking. The cottage has everything you need. The outdoor grill works well. Sufficient dry wood was available for the outdoor barbecue and the indoor fireplace. What must be underlined is that hot water is immediately available when you turn on the tap. We enjoyed the big bath, which one cannot do in the city, due to the costs of water, power and water scarcity. Sanna brought us warm, freshly baked bread, butter, jam and milk. We have stayed at many guest houses around the country and this is one of the few places that spoils you like this and it's extra for which you don't have to pay anything. Plus free WiFi! The hospitality deserves a special mention. You just feel relaxed as soon as you land. a lovely farm feel with chickens running around without bothering them. The furniture is of high quality, the large double bed sleeps well. We will definitely stay at Zandrivier again if we drive in that direction, and for more than one night! This is a gem.
Ben's cottage was perfect! It was nice to be able to sit outside and braai and the fireplace inside to keep warm. Will definitely go back!
It was a wonderful experience for us. Very comfortable and simple. I would stay there again anytime. Hopefully longer to also be able to experience nature.
For the port excellent location. Friendly people. Fresh farm bread was a winner.
Ben was an exceptional host.
Great place with adventure and lots to do!
Very comfortable and clean accommodation in a particularly beautiful environment.
Exellent place to explore Seweweekspoort from. Very nice to have an enclosed garden for pets. The best loaf of bread I have had in years, thanks Sana.
Lovely setting, well-equipped and spacious cottage.
Lovely relaxing stay, some good night photography. Enjoyed the walk past the sheep up to the waterfalls and San paintings. The welcome bread was absolutely delicious and warm out of the oven - not sure it is always like that or we just struck it lucky. Second night was colder but we could braai inside, perfect.
Wonderful hosts! Very comfortable small cottage with beautiful views and lots to do in the surrounding area. The freshly baked bread, butter, jam and milk were such a special touch. Free firewood also appreciated. So peaceful — what a special place.
We really enjoyed the break. Sanna received us kindly. There was delicious baked bread with butter and jam the next day. We almost gave up on the bread, and just put in an order for more! Thank you very much for an unforgettable place, where we could just relax.
Very nice accommodation in a safe environment between the mountains. Nice route to and from the accommodation. The owner makes a lot of effort and gives good suggestions for attractions. I will definitely use the accommodation again.
We were kindly received and had a wonderful stay. The children raved about the lambs and other farm animals.
We really enjoyed the peaceful farm atmosphere, delicious barbecue and everything was provided. With the loadshedding, there were also enough lamps to keep us from sitting in the dark. Was perfect.
Was a lovely experience. Sinah's fresh bread and jam was a great surprise. We had a great time.
Seweweekspoort is a spectacle of natural scenes! It's a shame our visit was so short, there are the most beautiful natural scenes and the walking route that Ben recommended to us was really remarkable.
For the cold, Marius provided us with enough wood for the fireplace, which warmed the house wonderfully. The friendly lady walked over in the cold and brought some delicious fresh bread. It made up for the weather outside and not being able to barbecue as we had planned. The bath water is deliciously warm and plenty.
There are only two curtains in front of all the windows! If you want to shower, you are open and exposed. The photo on the reservation is not the one of the house in which we live.
Owner not there to receive or see us off. I never saw the owner/manager. The bathroom only has a bath and no shower, so not convenient for older people in particular. No information received at reception regarding the fireplace etc. not. We had to pay R50 for a second loaf of bread. No MTN service.
Thank you for the hospitality. We were warmly and kindly welcomed with Sanna's warm smile and freshly baked bread. The peace and quiet on the farm with its beautiful view of the mountains and beautiful scenery is definitely worth the trip, especially if you drive through the Seweweekspoort. We were very lucky to go and find the petroglyphs and will definitely be going back for more.
Ben, thank you, it was a pleasure staying with you.
Characterful, clean and comfortable in beautiful surroundings.
Beautiful clean artistic house. Wonderful warm bread and jam devoured on arrival.
Beautiful farm, reception was excellent. Nicely furnished to spend the night, there was even extra effort made for nice fresh farm bread and farm milk.
Ben's Cottage is beautiful and well appointed. Love the chickens, macaws and other farm animals. It's just what is needed to get away from it all.
Enjoy an incredible few days at Zandrivier, the ideal place to put down your mobile phone and enjoy nature.
The cottage is well equipped with luxury items mixed with beloved antiques. Enough crockery and wood for the fireplace, as well as the pampering with fresh produce. Provision was made for load shedding with candles and lamps. Even though it is a yard full of animals and the main house is next to the cottage, one has total privacy, and does not bother the animals in any way. Sober knows how they keep the dogs to one side! It's considerate of people who might be afraid.
The children really enjoyed the farm animals and dogs. For us, the fireplace was nice.
This is a gem in the middle of nowhere. The owners, farm workers and accommodation were excellent. We were surprised with delicious freshly baked bread, butter, jam and milk. I will definitely go back. Thank you guys, it was absolutely fantastic.
If you would like to explore the Seweweeks Poort Pass this is the ideal place to overnight and then travel the pass and surrounds the next day. Floris and Ben were very friendly and hospitable. Arrived to a freshly baked farm bread, butter and apricot jam. All that you need - indoor fireplace etc. Rustic but beautiful. Art work by Floris is also beautiful. Home away from home for us. Thank you guys - your staff also is friendly! The Wi-Fi was incredibly fast and reliable in such a remote are - needed to use it for some quick work.
The landscape is simply breathtaking and brings a calmness to the soul.
From the moment Mia, my woof, and I arrived, we were received with care and hospitality. The 10 dog children on the farm make you immediately feel like you're part of a big family. The surroundings/mountains are so beautiful. I took countless photos, was also blessed to experience a breathtaking thunderstorm. Mia loved the farm dam, she was in her element. The extras such as the freshly baked bread with butter and jam, as well as the fresh milk in the fridge were heartwarming, Floris' paintings that look out for you in Ben's Cottage, were masterfully created to take you on a journey to a far away place. There was plenty of wood and I could make a fire morning, noon and night. A weekend is definitely too short, can't wait to go back. I almost forgot that bath. I got into him at 3:30 the first morning. The bath came in close 2nd as my highlight of the weekend!
We had entered for Seweweeks Poort MTB cycle and did not want to travel from George on the day of the cycle. As it is required by most guest houses, a minimum of two nights stay is required. We had previously stayed in Ladismith and two days was one day too many in this quaint little town. We decided that we would prefer two nights on a farm close to the start/finish. Bens cottage is a 30 plus km drive from the start on sand road, but it is worth the extra drive. The route takes you through the magnificent Seweweeks Poort and to the farm. How wonderful to arrive at this happy place and receive freshly-baked farm bread and be greeted by the chickens and geese. The view is beautiful. Communication between owner, staff and us was quick and our every need was taken care of. We will return for more peace and farm joy.
Restful. Country feel. Sanna is a nice hostess.
Apart from a bakkie that sped past us at the speed of light and splashed our car full of stones, we got to Ben's Cottage quite easily and received a warm welcome from Sanna and her little girl. The men brought us wood and even another braai (which we didn't use at the time). Later, Sanna brought us a delicious freshly baked bread with butter and homemade jam - it was heavenly! The chickens, guinea fowls, geese and finches entertained us for hours and food time was something to experience! The place is well furnished and we had a great time. Only one negative point is that I only contacted Ben afterwards after I hadn't heard anything from him by the morning of arrival. However, this did not detract from a lovely stay.
Raschel received us very professionally and showed us everything and later surprised us with fresh bread and delicious fresh milk. Ok firewood was provided for the fireplace and barbecue.
We enjoyed our stay at Bergzicht with friends. It was great to be able to take our dogs along too. A few points of feedback: The house was great, bigger than in the pictures, but we really missed having curtains in the bedrooms! This would improve privacy and quality of sleep. A small point, but we did miss a teapot. A map of the farm and some pointers about where swimming spots are would have been useful for making the most of the time we had there. Note that the owners have 10 dogs so just bear this mind when visiting with your own dogs. Overall an interesting farm to explore.
Place needs a convenient braai place.
Location was perfect for us who did "adventure biking". The hostess was friendly and entertained us with delicious home-baked bread and farm fresh milk. Very clean and comfortable.
The peace and quiet of the cottage and farm seep into ones soul and waking up to the sounds of turkeys and chickens is a treat. Everything was amazing. Ben and Floris are great hosts. Bens Cottage is quaint and spotless with views of the farmlands and mountains that belong in a magazine. The bath is decadent, the original artwork fabulous, the wood-burning fire a cozy touch, the kingsized bed comfy as hell. Every aspect of the cottage is well thought out. The homemade bread, jam, butter and farm milk were all delicious. Such a piece of paradise. Thank you Ben and Floris for making our days on your farm so special.
It's the most beautiful environment. Will definitely go again and spend more time there.
Lovely farm atmosphere. Cute dogs who come to say hello and walk together. Friendly hosts. Special thanks to Sanna for her kindness and delicious fresh farm bread, butter and jam that she gave.
Hospitably received with warm farm bread! Would love to visit again and can highly recommend.
Highly recommended, nice working farm environment.
Each time we got a freshly baked bread with peach jam, farm butter and fresh milk. Friendly guys who farm here.
Professional and friendly staff. The visit to the farm was a wonderful experience the gifts made it even more enjoyable freshly baked bread, milk from the farm, butter, jam and the Karoo lamb was exceptional.
If you like farm life, this is that place. Comfortable and peaceful. Typically breathtaking Karoo landscapes. Hospitable people and also tranquility by the fireplace if you feel like it. I look forward to going back.
Ben's Cottage is a lovely place with all the amenities that make it almost luxurious. The home-baked bread and jam were delicious. The host was very helpful and the silence was a precious little need.
Accommodation: Very comfortable (would have liked a shower); two chests of wood and the tastiest freshly baked bread, milk and butter from the farm and peaches - it was delicious; the area is beautiful, the roads good. Ben's cottage has everything one needs. Next time we will definitely stay longer! Was delicious!
A tray with home-baked bread, farm butter, milk and delicious jam is brought to us. A very nice treat. Everything you need and very reasonably priced. The farm stay was wonderful. All very comfortably furnished and a beautiful setting. The experience of staying on a farm was precious.
We were welcomed with delicious home-baked bread, farm butter and of course fresh farm milk. The nature is beautiful. Just driving through the Seweweekspoort is already a privilege.
Very nice location. Friendly people. Had a great stay.
Felt safe and cottage was well equipped! Very good linen is used.
The cottage was clean, tidy and tastefully furnished. The farm atmosphere was special, and the owners and their animals very friendly. There was a warm home-baked bun waiting for us on arrival, which was devoured with gusto. A bonus is the delightful paintings of Floris (owner) that we got to see!
A place to visit and get anew perspective of farming and experience nature in a different way.
Country hospitality with fresh milk, eggs and warm home-baked bread. Excellent.
Was lovely to stay there. The cottage is tasteful and comfortable. Great to get wood for your barbecue and be spoiled with fresh bread, eggs, butter and homemade jam. Your staff were also so nice to our son who really enjoyed the farm.
The location is ideal for getting to know the surroundings, the view of the Black Mountains is breathtaking. It was nice to see such a variety of farm animals again and the friendly dog children!
The Bergzicht Cottage is nicely decorated and well-equipped. We made a nice fire and there was enough wood. The kids had a ball on the farm and even planted on their own piece of land and decorated it. Ben and his team spoiled us with freshly baked bread, butter and apricot jam! We would definitely recommend that you stay a night or 2 at Zandrivier on your way through Seweweekspoort en route to the Klein Karoo!
Beautiful cottage - equipped with care and quality and surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
We enjoyed our stay at Zandrivier very much. Friendly staff, breathtaking view, quiet, and at the same time you feel part of the farm experience. We were sorry we hadn't booked another night.
We loved staying in the Ben's Cottage. Comfortable and everything we needed was there. Even a huge luxurious bath. Easy booking and easy to find. Thank you very much.
Value for money definitely and your service is very good, especially your farm bread is out of this world. I recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy the peace. I'll do it again, this time just longer.
No one to receive you. Poor finish. No mobile phone reception after 18:00. Stone Cottage is secluded. Wrong directions on Google maps.
Very nice with friendly manager who was happy to share treats with us. Mates with one of his many dogs, Oscar.
Enjoy it very much. Quiet and peaceful.
Never before met someone so passionate about animals and plants as Ben. Hospitable people!
Everything we needed was procured. We could walk freely around the farm, usually accompanied by one of the dogs. We would recommend the accommodation with love, where you can rest, but the mountain passes nearby are also enjoyable.
Stone cottage is set in a beautiful setting with lovely views all around. The kloof lies just behind the house and walks / hikes are close-by. The owner excelled himself with his freshly baked and divine home made bread and jam. The indoor fireplace was warm and cosy and wood provided. Only one bath and toilet. We didn't realise that there wasn't a shower. The grass and braai area was great, but the house is a bit run down inside, especially parts of the kitchen and doors, floors, etc. The main bedroom now has a king size bed and there are single beds in the other two rooms. The linen and towels provided were great.
Great location. Enjoyed our stay.
We arrived after a lengthy off-road driving experience to be welcomed and shown the way to our cottage. The cottage really has everything a traveler would need, quaint but practical. Two big crates of firewood for the evening braai was very welcome. The view over the farm and mountains are really breathtaking. The evening became chilly and the little furnace inside was found to be in a state of disrepair. The oil heater was a welcome alternative.
The location is wrong on Google Earth. It looks like it's just outside Laingsburg on the map, but in reality it's very far out of town, closer to Ladysmith and far from N1. Ideal for hikers and nature lovers.
We spent only one night in the Bergzight cottage, and wish had stayed longer. It's a typical farmhouse with everything you need. A great big fireplace inside and a braai outside. The owner, Ben, provided firewood for the evening which we really appreciated. DStv and WiFi worked. Nice place for kids with all the farm animals roaming around and friendly dogs and a friendly owner. We will stay here again, thank you Ben.
Take it easy and relax. However, the place is nothing to get excited about. The housing is neat and well equipped but cold and without atmosphere, scares you! The farm yard is also sloppy and untidy. Owner was nice and friendly.
The farm boasts a beautiful location, the staff are super friendly and helpful and Ben's Cottage is a wonderful little winter nook. The Queen Anne stove is incredibly effective. The biggest treat is the welcoming with freshly baked bread, butter, jam and farm milk.
