The place is a real poor and dirty place. I can't believe there is anyone who charges money for such a place. The walls ate us up and climbed into everything. Very disappointed.

The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. The small pool is convenient for the hot days, and the environment is quiet.
They were very friendly and always ready to assist with any request. The house was clean and everything was in working order. It was perfectly placed for our visit, fairly close to the local shops and the main gate for quick in and out.
What a disappointment! I would not recommend Zazu Cottage at all. The place is run down and doesn't smell good at all. We just wanted a neat simple place, but instead we found other accommodation and lost the money we paid. Got no customer service from owner.
We only wanted to stay overnight for two nights and were pleasantly surprised. Nice private place, with a braai, own splash pool. Parking is convenient. The owners are on site and they welcomed us and made sure everything was right and to our needs. Small kitchen, but everything you really need is in it. Everything was neat and clean, there is air conditioning for hot days and then there is a fan, for less hot days. Price wise it is pocket friendly. We would stay there again anytime.
Would have liked DStv included and or a list of entertainment available in the area, maybe a video of the complete interior of the house.
Although a bit far from the river and shops, it is a lovely place for 2 people to just break away from the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, and with everything you need for a nice break.
We were 4 adults and Zazu Cottage would have been very cramped for us. Koos immediately moved us to Zebra Cottage which is located right next to Zazu Cottage. Very private with beautiful sunrises. Koos and Erika were very hospitable and made sure we enjoyed our stay with them. Swimming pool filled with clean water and outside area was very nicely cleaned for us. Many animals visited us throughout the day and evening. Will definitely book at Zebra Cottage again.

Zazu Cottage is well located in Marloth in the quieter area. The cottage is listed for 4 adults, but it is very nice for 4 adults, maybe 2 adults and 2 children instead. Well equipped with everything you could need. View is a bit disappointing, looking stuck in a garage. Owner is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The splash pool was definitely a plus in the hot weather. Will definitely go again.
May be a bit cramped for 2 guests or more.
Was not impressed at all and what is advertised and what you get on arrival are not the same. Not at all suitable for more than two adults. Third person's sleeping place as booked was not made up and ready, we had to make a plan ourselves. No services provided.
We really enjoyed it, will go back again and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you very much, it was very nice.
At Zazu Cottage we had a really unpleasant experience. The pool water smelled rotten, the bathroom door was broken as well as the shower door. The shower does not work properly and the taps must be covered with towels so that they do not continue to run. The aircon is not working properly and the fan wiring is a concern. At the roof there is duck tape hanging from the roof in strips and not sealing properly so the mosquitoes were terrible throughout the evening. Whole bottle of mosquito stuff and Doom didn't help. Outside in the garden there are buckets full of rotten water and dirty rags in the garden. The cutlery is also not of a good standard. After one night we had no choice but to look for other accommodation. I had to repeatedly contact the owner before I received any feedback and then the feedback was not very positive. 4 days later I'm still waiting for feedback and the owner only said she would contact me the day she was back in the office.
Friendly service. It was nice to see so many animals at Zazu itself. The splash pool was a great treat.

Ericka and Koos are wonderful people and good hosts. We had a great time and they went out of their way to help us with anything. Really recommend!
There are some minor repairs that need attention. E.g. hot water faucet in shower and toilet system that makes noise.
Nice accommodation for no more than 4 people.
I personally would not stay here again. First night we had to wait for hot water because the geyser had been forgotten to be turned on. The units are very close to each other, if there are other guests you can hear their company. Would not recommend staying more than one night.

This is the place to rest and relax. Koos and Erica are wonderful people they go out off their way to make you feel at home.
The owners of Zazu went out of their way to make it comfortable and enjoyable for us. They were friendly, helpful and the extra things they did to make our stay enjoyable left deep traces in our hearts. I can't wait to go again.
Owner/s welcomed us kindly, cottage was big enough for the group of friends and some of our friends stayed at another house inside the park, they were just as welcoming as we were and were allowed to visit us, swimming pool cools down especially after a day's fishing. Park's power was out but Zazu's owners provided us with a generator, without the air conditioning we would have had to be in the pool all night. All the facilities are in good condition inside the cottage. Good, better, best. Would recommend them for a family visit. Thank you for their kindness.

Marloth Park is a beautiful place, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Zazu is a nice place with a lot of potential. The decor of the house could be spruced up (e.g. the bathroom mat, bedding is not up to standard etc.) and the cutlery could also be replaced a bit, otherwise I would definitely recommend it. It was so beautiful to see the zebras outside our window.
The cottage is compact and good for a base to stay. Remember to take with you, coffee, milk, sugar, toilet paper and doom, mosquito spray. Pool needs attention, water not clean. Not much privacy. Owners friendly and helpful.
Zazu Cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a few days. The only problem that needs some attention is the bathroom door that can't close properly, especially because it's an open plan unit.

Marloth Park does not impress. From fairly neat places to very sloppy places. As overnight stay on the way to a destination acceptable. Linen and duvets need a wash.
Nice quiet, cheap stay with friendly people.
Had a great time barbecued and swam and saw wildlife. Would recommend Zazu.
