Spectacular views from sunrise to sunset and surrounded by the working wine yards and wildlife was just amazing! Special thanks to the friendliest host! Simply cannot wait to return - and I will!
Loved the peaceful surroundings and animals. The cottage was spacious and had more features than expected, e.g. wood with blitz, hot-water bottles. All the rooms and kitchen were well equipped.
Such a lovely cottage and everything was clean and well set out.

For us (a family of 5, with 3 teenagers) the location was ideal: Almost in Stellenbosch (and therefore close to all the points we wanted to visit), but not with town prices. The chalet was well furnished, and the view was beautiful. The owner communicated very well and effectively with us throughout. The on-site wine tasting room was a pleasant bonus.
Perfect location. Accommodation extremely neat. Walking on the estate and relaxing on the porch was just the best treat.

Zebra Lodge's location is excellent. Most beautiful view. Their service is great and Remhoogte's wine is fantastic. I would definitely stay at Zebra Lodge again.
The location is perfect, but everything was spoiled by a group of people (presumably family or friends of the owner) who talked and laughed loudly all the time in a house 100 m from us, our direct neighbors could hardly be heard, complained about it but without any effect .
We couldn't spend much time at the accommodation because of a family wedding. However, the morning coffee on the veranda with the beautiful views was worth it over and over. Due to a misunderstanding on the electricity board, we did not have hot water for showering, but it was resolved within 10 min by request of the very friendly family, aka staff. I will stay there again if I have to be in the Cape.
We will definitely recommend the cottage, also come back again. The location was great and just what we needed to relax and spend time with our daughter. We enjoyed the wine tasting as well.
The accommodation and welcome were wonderful, but the icing on the cake were the four lovely farm dogs who accompanied us on a walk through the vineyards.

Accommodation is upmarket but simple. Cottages are beautifully furnished, clean and have everything one needs. There could be slightly more attention paid to detail as both cottages only had 3 bath towels. We even requested that we bring an extra child and while there was adequate space, it would have been nice to have 5 towels! Wine tasting was an added bonus and we really felt the young lady presenting the wines made our day! She was fun, bubbly and very knowledgeable!

We stayed in the cottage and it was really very peaceful to wake up there with the goats grazing right in front of the door. We did find the very stylish stairs to the upper room very inconvenient. And the fact that the bathroom is in the room was not very accessible for the couple who had to sleep upstairs. But most of all it is hospitable staff with a beautiful view and close enough to Stellenbosch and attractions. We would definitely like to sleep there again next time.
Really enjoyed it, but it wasn't easy to reach the house. The stairs are very steep and don't have railings.
