Zeezicht Oceanfront is situated in the quaint seaside village of Franskraal, Gansbaai in the Cape Overberg region. These self-catering apartments are located on the owner's property but has its own private entrance and sea views.

The accommodation comprises of 2 self-catering units suited to accommodate up to 6 guests in total. The spacious and luxurious unit with a sea view is located on the ground floor and the other spacious unit is on the side of the house and has only a view of the sea from the lawn. The owners live on the top floor.

The Zeezicht Guest Suite has a lovely sea view, is spacious and luxurious, and located on the groundfloor can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area with an indoor braai. The main bedroom also has a lovely sea view, a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as a washing machine. The dining area has seating space for 4 people and has an indoor braai, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with DStv and a DVD player. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided. The dining area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has an outdoor dining set. The patio overlooks the spacious garden with uninterrupted views of the ocean.

The Zeezicht Spacious Holiday Unit does not have an ocean view. Th ocean view is only visible from the lawn. The unit is spacious and convenient, and offers a queen size extra length bed that can accommodate 2 guests in total. The apartment also features a sofa, flat-screen tv, full DStv, dining table and chairs. The separate bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The small separate kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, gas stove/oven, washing machine, cooking essentials, crockery and cutlery. There are a Lapa and braai at the back for guests to use.

Nearby attractions and activities include Dyer Island Nature Reserve, Grootbos Nature Reserve, wine farms, Franskraal Beach, shark cage diving, swimming, whale watching, 4x4 trails, hiking and fishing.

"You can't go wrong choosing this unit! Neat and close to the sea."

My daughter and I had a great time staying at Zeezicht Oceanfront. Unit was nice and clean. You really get value for your money. Very central, very close to the sea! Enough space for the two of us. Our family played board games with us around the table in the evening at the comfortable round table in the kitchen.

We were looking forward to it for a very long time and had a very nice stay. Good lighting and DSTV were surprising and welcome. Everything was as advertised with one exception - the WiFi. As the owner of a software development company, it is essential for me to keep in touch with customers - even during a vacation. The WiFi in the ad played a big part in our decision to book at Zeezicht Oceanfront - it's a necessity in our case. However, for various reasons, the WiFi was not available most of the time. Would rather request that it be removed from the ad.

Lovely, comfortable and well equipped unit. Location and access very good. Extremely clean and attention to detail. Owner kept in touch regarding details of unit which was appreciated. Lovely bedding and beds, of the best quality. Only negative point is that the showers are somewhat inaccessible for persons with mobility problems. Would highly recommend this unit!

We were even surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine and there was also a gift for my 2 Yorkies who stayed together. The view is incredible while you enjoy a cup of coffee on the veranda.

We had a great time at Zeezicht. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you would need for the holidays. There are also braai facilities and they provide 1 braai of wood. The owner was in contact all the time via mobile phone. Would highly recommend Zeezicht.

"Beautiful view."

The house has a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was quite clean. There wasn't enough sunshine and it rained, to dry the clothes outside, a clothing rack inside would have been helpful. The shower had very little pressure. The outside tap for the washing machine leaks quite a lot. We only had access to Wi-Fi for about an hour at night. It didn't work any other time.

Unit was very nice clean, tidy and provided with all conveniences. For once a unit with enough hanging space for everyone's wet bath and swimming towels! Our little dog stayed there with us without any problems. Beautiful view and neighborhood.

Need egg cups in the kitchen and each guest needs a hand towel as well as a bath towel. Only one hand towel and this is not sufficient. Otherwise very comfortable. Would definitely return.

"Our host and hostess were excellent! The accommodation is super clean and tidy. The decor is nicely done. We had a very nice stay."

Our getaway started on a high note. We were a little early for check-in time and wanted to ask if we could just drop off our luggage, to which the hostess very warmly invited us to just check in! Marianne also kept us up to date with load shedding the whole time and invited us to ask her on WhatsApp at any time if we needed anything. The bed linen is crisp, pure white duvets and the mattresses sleep well! We were given pure white and soft towels, which really made me feel at home. Little details like a bottle of wine, Diddle Daddles on the foot of the bed and nice soft blankets in the living room were a nice surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed the view to the sea. We can really recommend Zeezicht Oceanfront. Many thanks to a wonderful host and hostess!

"Absolutely amazing!"

The place is beautiful, very cosy and the sea view from the main bedroom and stoep is breathtaking. I also loved the fact that the host left tea, coffee, sugar, rusks, body wash and sunlight dishwasher in the apartment. That to us was very considerate because sometimes guests only get to go shop afterwards.

Quiet and peaceful environment. Accommodation is nice and big with everything you need. Even braai wood. Nice big and comfortable beds. The covered porch has a nice view of the sea. The indoor barbecue is a big plus for those cold evenings or just a nice barbecue. Friendly reception. Will definitely go back again.

"Wonderful!"

Absolutely amazing! The view is breathtaking, and hearing the waves breaking is so relaxing. Unfortunately due to covid we did not meet the owners but the extra special touches left in the apartment more than make up for that. They really thought of everything and we did not need anything.

Zeezicht Oceanfront is situated in the quaint seaside village of Franskraal, Gansbaai in the Cape Overberg region. These self-catering apartments are located on the owner's property but has its own private entrance and sea views.
