ZenCapeTown Holiday House offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a unique property with a rustic farm-style elegance. The large double-story house is situated on the slopes of the mountain in Hout Bay, and features a large garden, a swimming pool, and a jungle-like vista. There is a small semi-detached apartment where the owners stay, with access to a private garden, and a separate entrance on a different street but you will feel completely private on this large property.

The house comprises 2 bedrooms, with the main bedroom located on the second floor. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a double shower with sweeping jungle and mountain views and its own toilet. The second bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a shower and bathroom.

There is a very comfortable large double sleeper couch in the lounge for additional guests 5 and 6. Please do note that there is a wooden floor/ceiling between the lounge and the main bedroom upstairs and this should be taken into consideration when booking for 6 guests as sound travels easily. The kitchen is stocked with herbs and spices, teas and coffees, and cleaning materials. The living room has a fireplace, and doors opening onto the wide verandah. Guests also have access to BBQ braai facilities.

This is the ideal spot for those who love the outdoors. There are 2 cats that live on the property, and they do have a place to sleep so do not need to sleep in the house. You may occasionally catch a rare glimpse of the owners through the trees, but it is a large property so no spaces are shared and we keep to ourselves and have our own separate access and parking.
