This cabin can comfortably accommodate 4 adults. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a bath with beautiful landscape views. The second room has 2 single beds. There is a single sleeper couch in the lounge. Linen, as well as bath and swimming towels, are provided.
The cosy open-plan living area features comfortable couches, an indoor braai and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is well equipped for self-catering and contains a bar fridge, 2-plate gas stove, kettle, coffee plunger, cutlery and crockery. Leading from the living area is a large patio featuring a dining table with ample seating, an outdoor braai area, shaded trees and a hammock where guests can sit back, relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air. A braai grid, firelighter and wood are provided.
Separate from the cabin is an outdoor bathroom fitted with a shower which opens up at the front to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Whether relaxing in the wood-fired splash pool, sunbathing on the porch, or hiking along the mountain, guests of Zielenrust are well on their way to a memorable trip.

What a view! We felt like we were alone on the mountain in a cosy cottage. Weather limited our ability to utilise the pool more, but definitely a place one should visit. Second room has no packing or shelves, maybe a bunk bed would have worked better.
Incredible views, beautiful nature. Zielenrust's name is perfect. The cottage is very well equipped and the owners made a lot of effort to make us feel welcome.
We loved the setting, so far up in the mountains. We loved having easy access to walks/hikes. The cabin was very cosy with gorgeous outside shower. Everything worked - didn't have to worry about load shedding. Fabulous hot tub. Carlo was an excellent host.
The outdoor shower is a treat! Peaceful and serene, clean and vegetation undisturbed. Enjoyable hikes. Just amazing and absolutely perfect!

Please note the property has a wood-fired splash pool.Please note that the cottage is reached via a 4 km rocky mountain gravel road that is only accessible via high vehicles, such as a pickup truck or an SUV. The vehicle does not have to be 4x4.
At an additional costs, guests can arrange for their cars to remain at reception and be taken to the cabin.
The booking agreement/information form sent to the customer after payment has been received must be completed and returned before arrival.
Smoking is prohibited within the unit and in the surrounding fynbos areas. If this rule is violated guests will forfeit the full breakage deposit.
The cottage runs on solar power so lights must please not be unnecessarily left on, especially during nighttime.
Pets are not allowed.
