"The villa was neglected and several faults were present."

Had an unpleasant visit, house is neglected, one bathroom smells terrible, others don't have hot water, another one gets wet when it rains. Garage lights don't work, toilets don't work properly, stoves don't turn off and so on. Inexcusable in the price range. We stayed there May 10 and only received our deposit back on June 1 after several emails to the administrator. Avoid at all costs.

House rules
Cleaning services are available from Mondays to Saturdays, however, these services are not available on Sundays and public holidays.
Please note that the Zimbali Resort welcome centre has a strict 48-hour turnaround to process all guest IDs and that way provide access to the resort.
As a result, bookings with less than 48 hours ' notice cannot be confirmed as guests will not be able to access the Zimbali estate.
Zimbali requires an ID or passport or driver’s license copy for every guest.
Guests will be sent an invoice for the refundable breakage deposit which is payable 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Along with the invoice guests are required to complete a Zimbali questionnaire and ZEMA form (all guests' full names and ID numbers to be filled in and date of birth for children under the age of 16 years. This information is required at least 4 days prior to arrival.
Please note that Zimbali is extremely strict regarding noise levels and guests are fined for any loud talking/music after 22:00.
No additional visitors are allowed. Only the 8 guests on the ZEMA form will be allowed entry.
Zimbali does not have a swimming beach.
Please note that we cannot accept bookings without 48 hours' notice before check-in as Zimbali will not allow guests into the property without the necessary notice and thus your booking will be cancelled.
