It was very pleasant. The only thing they need to work on is cleaning the apartment daily. Pool was dirty.
We were accommodated in "the Shack" and arrived there after dark and in the rain and unfortunately (presumably) a valve problem impaired the flow of hot water. Access to the Shack is a long flight of stairs (not ideal for older people) and to the site via a low water bridge over the Elands River which poses a flood risk. Unfortunately, due to our late arrival and early departure, we were unable to enjoy and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth it.

We had a lovely weekend and the children really enjoyed the farm atmosphere. The hiking trails are very beautiful!
The homely farm atmosphere was very pleasant to experience. Dogs, horses and ducks. We enjoyed it very much. Would highly recommend it, especially for followers of Christ.
When we got there, there was a taxi with its doors open and music as loud as a club. 10 m from there was a large group of other people sitting with a large speaker playing other music just as loudly. It was at reception. Reception itself was not very friendly or helpful. The place no longer looks like it does in the photos. Not even almost. Those photos were probably taken 10 years ago. If you look at the photos, it gives you the idea that it is a quiet place that is nice for a break. If that's what you want to do, this is not the place for you. If you want to drink and hang around other drunk people and hear them yelling at each other, this is the place for you. One positive thing is they give you a fresh home baked bread when you get there.

We only stayed 1 night on the way to Kruger National Park, but enjoyed our visit. We were received very hospitably and the fresh welcome sandwiches were much appreciated. We had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
Enjoyed our stay. The area is rich with history. Perfect place to come and relax after a day of exploring. The Zongororo train is a great experience. Had some luck with yellowfish while flyfishing next to the river. We were happy to have our K9 with us to explore. Thank you.
Had a great time and chat with the family. Neat little house. Had a bad mattress that was hollow. But the couch in the living room slept soundly. The hiking trail was a bit washed away with the heavy rain and we had to cut it short and turn around. The train passing by was fascinating and very interesting to study the map.

Good place to recharge the batteries. There is a railway line nearby which disturbs the peace from time to time. Some heating panels were not functional - did get very cold in the early hours of the morning.
We really had a good stay at Zongororo with our 4-year-old, the place is really peaceful and the host is very sweet, she gave us ample time to check out. I'm not a dog person but because those Jack Russels made us feel right at home and safe, I didn't mind having pets around.
Friendly people and very helpful, but the unit we were in was out of the box. Bed was not comfortable at all and did not sleep well. At least it was only one night, on the way to Kruger. It wasn't terribly peaceful either, I suspect there was a church group or something that played rock hard music for quite a while, it wasn't the end of the world, but not as blissful and peaceful as we expected do not have.

The train that passed us was the children's highlight! The wooden cabin is well equipped. Our family had a lovely time there. The antiques and the historical places was a bonus.
After a very long day on the road, Magda's friendly and warm welcome was just what we needed. We didn't get there until 20:00, in the rain, but Magda waited for us outside and even brought coffee. Thank you very much! Clean and tidy accommodation, everything you need is in the cottage. The scenery is beautiful! We will definitely stay there again and can recommend them anytime!

The staff were helpful, friendly and made us feel like part of the family. Generally a good experience and the train circle and carriage was a very interesting plus.

We had a nice stay and Ronel was very friendly. Found the kitchen to be very basic and the two plate stove wouldn't turn off and the tiles under it were cracked. A two-plate stove with an oven might be a good idea. I also don't think it would be comfortable for 6 people, unless it's 2 small children. Is sufficient for 4.

Advertisement was just misleading. We saw and booked a guest house at a good price but slept in a backpackers 14 sleeper. The accommodation does not match the price. What you see is not what you get! But was quite acceptable for the amount we paid for the one night. Managers accommodated us for the inconvenience and gave us an extra room at no cost. Very friendly people!

Definitely a place we'd want to visit again. Hennie and Elsa know the meaning of hospitality! When we arrived they showed us where everything is and because we wanted to braai they invited us to braai with them becaus they already had a fire going. When you arrive you are greeted by the friendly Jack Russels and they want to go for a walk with you on the farm. Unfortunately we arrived too late, but the walking trails looked really nice. The little cabin is equipped with everything you need, the rooms are large and the decor is beautiful. We just stayed the night but it was so beautiful I wanted to stay the week.

The accommodation is pleasant, well equipped in a nice nature environment. The host has a path for discovering birds and the farm. A railway is close and it's noisy when there is a train. Happily, it's not often.
Zongori Guest Farm and Waterval-Onder are a good choice for rest in nature.
Log home needs urgent upgrade, replacing of bedding such as duvets and pillows. Cutlery needs to be replaced especially if a large group of people makes use of the house. Warm water problem needs to be addressed as only 2 people could shower in hot water. Accomodation was dissapointing for what we paid for.
Directions were poor to Znorgori. I was very upset when we arrived but didn't realize how bad it would be. We were received very kindly by Nadia. She showed us our rooms and I realized too late that we had a room with a bathroom. I thought we were staying in a hostel. Later found out it is for backpackers. I booked for 3 adults in one of the log cabins I saw on the internet. After walking around the farm we wanted to relax quietly with a glass of wine on the veranda of our accommodation. Our view was the washing lines. Fortunately, there was a delicious home-baked bread on the table. We couldn't even make coffee because there were only tin cups and "bitten" tin plates. When the sun went down we just sat on the floor in our room and talked. We were forced to get into bed early. We were able to roll down the blinds with difficulty. In the bathrooms, the blinds were broken and dirty. Some toilets didn't work and one faucet dripped all night. The box in the one bathroom's little wheel kept falling out. Was embarrassed to tell my family where we spent the night. An email I received from Nadia said it was our choice to sleep there! Would never have chosen it! I booked for 3 adults and our welcome was "Linda welcome to you and the brood"!

The owners welcomed us as if we were old friends. Stunning farm establishment and very relaxing. We love animals, so we were especially happy about the animals on the farm.
We were received very hospitably. Everything was very neat and clean and we had a great time in the peaceful farm atmosphere. Enjoyed the animals, Lassie (dog) went for a walk with us and waited where we rested. Centrally located, drove to Sabie, Hazyview, and Cape Hope and had great days there.
