If we had known about nice and sunny rooms 4, 5 and 6 we would rather have stayed in them. The mattress of the large bed is very crisp, as are the pillows. There was not enough bedding for all 3 beds. We had to try and cover the sleeper couch with what was in the closet, it didn't fit. Hendrik and the security helped us a lot with the problem that arose.

Zonnevanger is centrally located between several towns. It is very safe and quiet and rooms very comfortable and neatly furnished. Owners very friendly. Was our second visit and will definitely be visiting a 3rd time.

If I can make any criticism it is only that the room we were initially placed in is very small and dark. However, the host then almost immediately moved us to another room that was much better. Our booking at Zonnevanger was a late minute booking after other accommodation canceled a week before our stay. What a pleasant surprise to enjoy seamless access to the premises at Zonnevanger outside of their normal check-in hours. The rooms are clean, tidy and tasteful, the owners friendly and accommodating and with a smile willing to make adjustments at short notice such as providing a gluten-free, vegan with a wonderful breakfast. Thank you very much Zonnevanger. We recommend you to anyone who really wants to sleep well.
Located just a little outside the Paarl, the silence and tranquility that this accommodation offers is definitely to be recommended. It is close to Wellington and Franschhoek. The owner went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible especially with load shedding which was a problem. I will definitely use it again if I have to spend the night in the area.
This was our first time in Paarl, so the environment was strange to us. Hennie kindly explained to us where everything was in and around Paarl, which made our journey much easier. We had family staying with us for one night, where we were immediately arranged to have adjoining rooms. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The environment beautiful. The rooms clean and tidy. The arrangements regarding the supply of the keys leave much to be desired. Contact person could not be reached and after 45 minutes we could not contact her in any way to obtain keys. After a call to the administrative office, the contact person was finally located and keys could be delivered.
We experienced very friendly and helpful staff. It was indeed nice to have great communication and feedback from management while confirming our booking and other details of our stay. The room was very clean and although we only used it as a short one night stay-over, everything was perfect. I can recommend Zonnevanger with confidence to anyone.
The place was neat and clean. We only had one big problem. There is no window in the bedroom. The windows in the bathroom couldn't open either, because the paint on the frame prevented it. The security gate was very noisy when you opened or closed it.
