We thoroughly enjoyed Zorgvliet Wines Country Lodge's hospitality and would highly recommend the farm. Zorgvliet Wines Country Lodge is well located near Stellenbosch with easy access to a variety of restaurants and wine farms and breathtaking views of the mountains. Friendly, knowledgeable staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Covid 19 protocol on the farm definitely reassured us and because there are fewer rooms we were almost always alone at breakfast or other activities. Breakfast had been delicious and even if the options on the menu were a little limited the kitchen was more than willing to offer an alternative. If you fancy an intimate getaway, far from the noise, Zorgvliet is definitely the place.
Beautiful surroundings and facilities. Rooms and bathroom spacious with nice lawn, sofas, tables and chairs by the pool. Wonderful breakfast and excellent service.
The reception staff went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied and comfortable. Our wine tasting at Zorgvliet was our best experience of our getaway. Recommend Zorgvliet Wines Country Lodge for sure.
We had a luxurious dinner and breakfast on the premises. We also had complimentary wine tasting the following day. The surroundings were absolutely stunning.
We wanted to get away for a quiet weekend and Zorgvliet did not disappoint. Zorgvliet is well situated to visit other interesting locations in Stellenbosch. Unfortunately there was no wine tasting due to lockdown. Our accommodation was spacious with lovely views. Our bed was comfortable, and the cottage had a stunning fire place. The bathroom is huge and with lots of hot water to wallow in the bath. The coffee and breakfast was delicious. We would have liked to do some of the walks available but ran out of time and energy!
A lovely place and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, however the room we staying in was in desperate need of some TLC, the shower had a moldy floor, and the duvet inner had dark stains which the staff immediately changed for us and compensated with a complementary bottle of wine at dinner.

The location is ideal in an area with numerous attractions. The estate is breathtakingly beautiful. Quiet atmosphere, safe, tidy. Meals and wine are exceptional. Service is great. Will definitely want to visit again... 2 nights was too little!

Quiet room. 5 minutes outside Stellenbosch and about 15 minutes from Franschhoek. Perfectly located for a weekend drive between the restaurants and food markets.

The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated, but very disappointed that we could not have a view of the breathtaking mountains. Breakfast was very special and service was outstanding.
I expected much more. Our room's bathroom mirror was also dirty, full of water splashes. Staff were absent and we had to wait to be helped. The breakfast was also very disappointing, fruit was not well and nicely presented. The "condiments" such as jam and sauces etc. were in their original containers on the buffet table with ordinary "shop bread" with the nicely baked croissants. It's a beautiful place, with so much potential, but the service was not what you expect when you pay so much money. I was overseas for 4 months and wanted to spend my first night back in SA with our South African hospitality and good service. Sorry I probably sound like a snob, but I was very excited about the stay, and the room was very nice, the decor etc., but the service was really not up to standard.
