37 guests' feedbackIt was wonderful! Thank you.
All our expectations were exceeded. It is wonderful to have all the facilities at our disposal. Beautiful view of the Soutpansberge with a well-marked walking route up the mountain. Goats and partridges come to graze around our very private cottage.
Thanks for a fantastic stay. A very very special place. You’ve done it so tastefully. And not a detail you haven’t given thought to. An absolute pleasure to stay here. Love to come back again! Thank you so much.
Wonderful, Madala Cottage has everything one could possibly need. The garden, pool and surroundings are beautiful. Wish I could give them 6 stars!
We had a very nice stay at Zanaka.
The accommodation is comfortable and well furnished. Could just stay there longer. a good hostess. I will go again.
Such a personal touch. Flowers in every room. The tub and shower in the courtyard are fantastic. Fireplace with wood and fire lighters. Really such a great treat for the soul. The hiking trails are beautiful and so well explained.
It was a wonderful getaway. Quiet and private with the most beautiful views. Will definitely go there again.
Everything neat and clean. Wonderfully peaceful and beautiful and the natural beauty. House well equipped with all necessities. Will definitely stay there again.
Unfortunately only spent 1 night. But a lovely comfortable location.
Zanaka is an excellent accommodation option. It is very well located, in a quiet and wooded location on top of the Soutpansberg. The equipment testifies to an experienced host and hostess, and there is more than enough information about how everything works and what services are available. You could just sit in the cool and watch nature pass by, or go for a walk along all the walking paths. The WiFi is very welcome and works independently of Eskomkrag.
Good barbecue, home has a nice feeling. People were extremely nice and helpful.
Very satisfied with the service.
Highly recommend for a couple looking for privacy and love nature. The facilities are also something special.
Place of residence does not provide for work. Internet hub a short distance away with uncapped internet access. Which is very good.
A little house with hooks behind each door for towels sums up our stay very well. Comfort and the finer details have certainly been thought of here! The house was clean and tidy, the surroundings beautiful and exactly the right kind of overnight stop we needed on our way to Mapunbugwe!
Had a great weekend in the Zoutpansberg. The accommodation is meticulously and stylishly maintained, neat and clean. No detail was spared. It is a wonderful place for a break. The walk over the mountain is incredible and brings you into contact with the vegetation and animal life of the region. At the top of the mountain, the view is breathtaking. Bird life is spectacular! Also a good base to explore the region further. Would recommend the place. We will come again for sure.
Breathtaking accommodation and nature.
Our stay at Zvanaka was perfectly lovely, and if we'd known what a great place it was, we'd have booked for another night, instead of just stopping over on the way to Pafuri. It is conveniently close to the N1, yet quiet, and the bird life is great. Gail has thought about all the little things that makes a guest feel special. We left with a sense of having been very generously treated and will certainly return.
Had a wonderful stay with special care and attention by the owner that gives it a lovely personal touch. Peaceful and tranquil. Well equipped kitchen, unique bathroom. And some good reads if you are really bored.
It is a very well equipped place with a lot of attention paid to small details - it was truly a privilege to be able to stay there!
We had a wonderful stay. Quiet, in beautiful nature and very well equipped.
It's definitely the place to book. Total and all private. The best place I've been to in a long time. Definitely place to recommend.
I had a wonderful time, the place is ideal when you want to get away from the city life. Will definitely be going back soon.
Amazing place and touch of the owners in it.
Zvakanaka is really worth the visit. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Owners so friendly and accommodating. Lovely view. The mist upon our arrival was a bonus. Madala House had everything we needed. The personal touches like fresh flowers, Amarula and chocolate such a surprise. We'll be back.
Accommodation great, clean and tidy. All necessities were provided, from champagne and fresh flowers to the smallest detail i.e. wood, fire lighters, fireplace wood and soaps for Africa. Very nice hiking trails, from easy to slightly difficult (mountain). Scenery wonderful, very funny birds (beautiful), goats, very friendly and shy. Pool clean and fresh. Braai place well equipped and there is a separate boma at the braai place for a bonfire etc. Water clean and drinkable (delicious). Monkeys around, but not bothersome. Outside bath a winner.
Wat 'n heerlike verrassing! 'n Pragtige wegbreekplek in die hartjie van die bosveld. En om elke oggend as jy wakker word en na die berg te kyk is pure genot. Igabab is 'n baie netjiese, volledig toegeruste blyplek. Ons het dit voorwaar geniet en kan Zvakanaka sterk aanbeveel. Keep up the good work Gail and Al.
Spacious and well appointed.
Quiet with lots of privacy and lovely in nature.
My husband and I always want to stay in a place where we can be completely private, but with beautiful scenery and bird and animal life, and where every need is catered for. And that too at an affordable price. Igababa by Zwanika is such a place, and we hope to visit it again and again!
Our time there was just too short, but I would like to visit again in that peaceful environment. The smallest thing you can think of is there, just take food and clothes and relax. Thank you Gail, it was very special.
They cater to your every whim.
Gail and Alistair truly make 100% sure that your stay is nothing but a pleasure. The cottage is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view is incredible and the outdoor pool heavenly. We will definitely visit here again and soon!
Ideal for a private breakaway to relax and spend quality time in nature away from work and people.
No complaints.
Very special for a nice getaway, beautiful layout... less is always more!
