Zwana Nathi is a beautiful double-story thatched self-catering bush cottage situated in Marloth Park, a short drive of 24 km from the Crocodile Bridge gate of the Kruger National Park. Bordering on parkland, Zwana Nathi ensures total privacy and a real bush experience, with many ‘4-legged visitors’.
Accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, a loft room, 2 bathrooms plus an outside bush shower with cold water only, with a formal open-plan lounge and dining area, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Both bedrooms on the ground floor feature double beds and are equipped with air-conditioning, while the loft boasts 2 single beds with an industrial ceiling fan and 2 freestanding fans. Both the bathrooms contain a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. All bed linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own swimming towels
The house has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen fitted with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas 2-plate stove (no oven), electric frying pan, kettle, and toaster. All cutlery, crockery, and utensils are provided.

Wonderful stay in the bushveld. Very much enjoyed the pool, fire pit area, and visits from the animals.
Zwana Nathi is a comfortable house with a patio, as well as a comfortable patio and boma by the braai area. The separate bathrooms cater for everyone's needs, thanks to a bath and a separate shower. Mesh doors and screens in front of the bedroom windows ensure that you can leave doors and windows open without worrying about mosquitoes. There are more than enough power points and plugs in the house. All the luxury and comfort is rounded off with a splash pool that offers great fun. Thanks to the solar panels, as well as the convenience of a Jo-Jo tank, we were able to have a nice holiday, despite load shedding and a temporary water shortage in Marloth Park. We will definitely book again.
Well laid out with enough sleeping space. Dishwasher was a welcome bonus so I wasn't saddled with dishes. Something that cannot simply be changed, but it would be good if it could, is a bit more space in the bathrooms. We had my 80 year old father (who uses a walker) with us. He struggled a bit in the bathrooms.
The unit is well located with lots of wildlife that came by regularly while we swam and barbecued. Very close to the Crocodile River gate. There was absolutely no shortage of anything in the unit and Dana, the owner, was in regular contact to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely visit Zwana Nathi again. Absolutely value for money.

It's not too hard to find with the directions. They are very friendly at reception. The aircon in the relaxation area does not work. The swimming pool and braai place are very nice.

We have visited Marloth many times, but this time was truly unforgettable. Zwana Nathi is the best and nicest place we have ever stayed with an awful lot of wildlife that came to say hello every day. 15 min walk to the edge of the river with a nice view. Everything is nice and clean and Dana was so helpful. I will not go to any other place again than Zwana Nathi. Thank you so much for an experience we will never forget.

We spent a wonderful week at Zwana Nathi with friends. The attraction for us is staying in Marloth Park because it is a magical place to spend a holiday. Near enough to Kruger for day visits and also just across the Crocodile river, allowing plenty of game viewing of the animals in Kruger, from the various viewpoints in Marloth Park. The many animals that roam Marloth are also frequent visitors to the houses. In fact we were thrilled to see three Bush babies who nested in the nearby tree, leaving every evening to go and find food.. We were a party of 5 adults, two couples and a single male. I would definitely not recommend Zwana Nathi for more than 4 adults. The upstairs bedroom is actually a loft room and open to the main living area - not really ideal for an adult couple. It was also very hot while we were there and the loft room did not have an air conditioner and the main aircon did not have much effect in the plus 30 deg C heat. But with a pool and lovely outside braai area and plenty of outdoor seating Zwana Nathi is a lovely place to stay. The pool was very welcome during the heatwave. The host is very communicative and kept us up to date with all the news in Marloth Park at the time. There is only one shower indoors but the outside shower, although cold water only, was lovely. The kitchen is small, with only a kettle, 4 slice toaster, microwave and gas cooker top, but then again the braai area is good. The Wi-Fi is very good and the availability of DSTV and streaming services make it attractive to those who can't be without these amenities. Not that we really worried about that except for one particular rugby match!
The house is on a part that was nice and quiet. It's beautiful inside the house and comfortable. Also really enjoyed the wildlife that came around.
The house was super neat and clean with everything needed. The TV with full DStv and Netflix is great. We really enjoyed the large porches. We will use them again in the future.
Beautiful, clean and spacious house. The house is well equipped with everything one needs for self-catering accommodation. Dana (owner) was friendly, available all the time and very helpful. The aircon in the bedrooms and living area was great in the heat and everyone cooled off in the beautiful, clean pool. Nice stoep (deck) and braai area for visiting. Our family really enjoyed the night monkeys and animals that came to 'visit'. The WiFi and Netflix were a bonus. It was a lovely weekend and we had a great time. We will definitely come and relax at Zwana Nathi again!

Everything was picture perfect. The house is beautiful, clean and spacious. The outside braai area is where we spent all our time, from watching, as well as feeding the animals, we just took in the beauty of our surroundings. There isn't one thing I would change, it was perfect in every way. I would highly recommend Zwana Nathi and cannot wait to go back.
We enjoyed every moment at Zwana Nathi. The house is spacious and comfortable with aircon in both rooms and also the living area. The loft is large and opens onto a wooden porch with a beautiful view of the forest. Attention has been paid to small things to make things more comfortable - such as the towel rails in the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is also neat and clean. The best part is the lounge area. The pool is nice and big and there is a pump that ensures it is sparkling clean. The pool net is also very easy to remove and put back - no hassle. The built-in braai is convenient and there is a light in the braai which makes things so much easier. Everyone can socialize around the fire pit. There is also a lovely veranda for just sitting and relaxing. A lot of effort has been made to ensure that there are also animals around the house. There is a drinking hole and place to put out feed for the animals. The two houses for the night monkeys ensure that one can also see these animals up close. In one house there were up to five night owls that we could see up close. A large kudu bull was also around the house all day and then there were also quite a few other animals that were around the house throughout the day. The WiFi was a nice bonus and worked well. Dana's communication is excellent and there were no problems getting the key. We had a great time. Thank you Dana for the privilege of being able to relax at Zwana Nathi.
We had a wonderful, restful and peaceful time. The house is really great, the owner's service is exceptional and she keeps you updated with the ongoings in Marloth which is not expected and really great. Amazing for kids with Netflix and a beautiful pool. The braai area and fire pit is where we spent all our time, it was absolutely perfect. The couches are super comfortable and both rooms have aircon! Will definitely go again.
Had a great time and could sit on the porch and watch the animals that came to eat. Swimming pool is also very nice at the braai area and you can have fun together on the large stoep.
When we arrived the house was very tidy. Extra effort has been made in every room. The fans, air-con and pool kept us cool. The children stayed busy in the evenings with TV and Netflix. There were many animals such as kudus, bushbucks and even a blue wildebeest who came to say hello. The house is nice and private with no neighbors nearby and surrounded by woods. We can definitely recommend it.
