Very nice stay, peaceful, cozy and just relaxed.
Our family of 4 (with teenager and young child) as well as our dog had a great stay. The Duinehuisie has everything one needs. We will definitely be back again.
We had an amazing stay, the place is so beautiful and clean. We had a great barbecue on the 2nd night and when we saw the beautiful sunset, we got into our car and went to the beach. It was an incredible experience.

We were very impressed with the design of the house as well as the outdoor facilities. Very spacious space. The gas stove is a plus and the shower has good water pressure and is conveniently laid out.
Beautiful, neat, safe place. Very reasonable price. We paid for 2 days but could only stay 1 night. They refunded us within 4 days.

Very nice getaway spot.
We were attending a birthday party in Melbos and were actually just looking for local overnight accommodation. Duine Huisie was so much more than that. Spacious, tidy, well equipped, comfortable, indoor and outdoor barbecue, safe parking. We had a wonderful stay.
Perfect place to stay for vacation/business.
We suffered at the Duinehuise for a month while we waited for occupation in our new house in Melkbos. We couldn't ask for a better location or nicer environment to "land" in Melkbos. The small unit met all our requirements and we got to know the quieter side of Melkbos. It was easy to get to everything, the beach, restaurants, shops and we didn't need to drive out of the shell for anything. The unit is very well equipped and we often lit a fire to sit outside. The one time the weather was awful, we did it inside! With the gas stove and oven, we hardly knew about load shedding. To our surprise, we walked out of the gate one evening, only to spot a herd of zebras across the road in the reserve. I can recommend Duinehuis to anyone traveling for work or vacation. It feels like my second home now.

If you're not keen on a stay in the city, but rather a quiet stay outside its borders this is a perfect pick. Host is super helpful, great amenities, lovely setup. Bit of a drive into Cape Town self if your activities are mostly there.

5 km from the main beach, but still worth it.
I can recommend the Duine Huisie with 100% conviction. The service is friendly, the house is wonderfully equipped with everything your heart could desire, the garden is private and beautiful, the parking is secure behind gates, and everything was super clean. Best of all, it is pet-friendly for when traveling with your pet children.
One of the best, cleanest, guest houses I've ever been to. This is the 2nd time at @The Duine Huisie and we love it every time! Everything is neat, clean and so comfortable. Will definitely go back again!
