The apartment was close to restaurants, centrally located. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The stoep was large and had a nice sea view. Good value for money. We had a very nice stay.

It is probably the neatest and best located apartment we have ever rented and Blackie received us kindly, explained everything well and our grandson really enjoyed the beach. Tivoli is highly recommended for people who will enjoy the beach and sea view. We will definitely use this again.

Wish this was my house! Central, safe, lovely sheltered braai area and veranda on the sea front. A nice visiting house. If I could change something, it would be that one room's double bed could perhaps be replaced with two single beds. It is rare that two couples visit together - rather a family with an older couple and two children, who would not under normal circumstances share a double bed.

The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The place is very centrally located. All I can mention is that the beds don't sleep so well. I believe the owner will probably upgrade the rooms a bit in the future. Other than that we really have no complaints, we had a very nice holiday.

Only a thin duvet with a thin blanket that is not even a double bed size. There is underfloor heating but it does not work. Kitchen cupboard doors are broken and handles off. Excellent location but not recommended in winter.

Just what we needed for a nice long weekend. The location is perfect, service was excellent. The indoor braai is a big bonus (especially with the rainy weather we've had) and of course the Wi-Fi for the Teen in the house!! Will definitely go again.

On a very wet and freezing weekend, this was the perfect apartment. On the sea front, but with a sheltered braai area (one of the few where you can make a fire with wood). Very friendly service. Very convenient accommodation. Enclosed braai area worked very well in the cold weather. Only suggestion is to have 2 single beds in second room, as my son and daughter (adult) could not share the bed. You will see us again. We had a great stay.

It is a wonderfully comfortable two-bedroom unit. We really enjoyed the beautiful view. It was central to travel from further afield. We were very kindly received and were able to relax.

Blackie received us very kindly and opened the windows ahead of time and turned on the geyser and also confirmed how far we were from Strand to wait for us there already. We appreciated it Blackie, thanks. The place's location, layout, furnishings and security are excellent. The free WiFi helps a lot and the DStv is convenient. Although the parking is safe, it is not covered parking, it is only shaded and the car gets afternoon sun. All that struck me was that the place lacks a very decent cleaning, you can see that the front is only quickly cleaned after each guest visit and also some of the things like the kitchen cabinets need a repair or replacement. All the linen and on the floors had a lot of hair from the previous guests and I had to wash everything again and clean the linen with a roller before I wanted to walk there barefoot and sleep in the bed. The one toilet was also not cleaned after previous guests' use. The one shower's pressure was very weak and the one bedside lamp without a bulb. We feel that the basic things like proper inspection of the place in terms of cleanliness and everything in good working order, need some attention.

"Nice view and central, but a so-so experience."

We arrived on Monday and stayed for 7 nights. We were without hot water for 5 days and had to bear it with a smile while they had to figure out what was wrong. The caretaker offered to move us, but to another place which was not acceptable to me. I also had to message 4 times to get the deposit back because the caretaker took one look and couldn't find the sliding door keys where we hung them. This experience was not worth the R6000+ and the further R12 000 for flight tickets and I will go to Gordons Bay instead next time.

Wat een fantastisch appartement. Alles was zoals je thuis ook heb. De eigenaar heeft alles gedaan om het je naar de zin te maken. Maar vooral de ligging was voor ons ideaal. Dicht bij strand - stad en omgeving voor bezoek. In huis was er tv met HDMI, met veel buitenlandse zenders, dus ook Nederlandse tv, internet zeer snel en verder alles zoals je thuis ook hebt. Bij blijvende gezondheid komen wij graag hier terug. Baje dankie.

Thank you Heidi for your beautiful apartment. The girls baptised it their "other house" the first day. Everything was clean and tidy, it would have been nice to have basic items available in the apartment like salt and pepper, but that's because we flew. An extra roll of toilet paper would also be nice. If your motivation (like ours was) is to have direct access to the beach from the apartment, I would just suggest that you first find out if the road works are completed. Really was a lovely stay and thank you for an easy and carefree booking.
