Ewald was friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was exactly as advertised and had a lovely rustic, farmyard feel while still having all the amenities we wanted (self-catering tools, braai). The hot tub was great, and the quality of the wood means that popping a few pieces in the heater a few times a day was enough to keep the water warm throughout, and when we wanted it hot throwing a bunch got that water nice and toasty.
Peaceful, serenity, hot tub, reminder to myself to bring more apples next time to feed the animals.

We had a delightful stay at 11 Mountain Streams. The tranquil, farm-like atmosphere with various animals such as ponies, llamas, emus, springboks, birds, and a friendly dog made our visit truly special. The cottage was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably neat, equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering stay. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature.

It was really nice in the forest. Everything you need is there. Nice to break away from the busy and noisy city. The animals are too cute. We took others' advice and took lots of apples with us for the animals. Great stay! We found the type of accommodation we were looking for.

My experience at 11 Mountain Stream, Meerkat was fantastic. It was nice getting out of my house to sleep in Mother Nature, hearing the sound of the trees and the birds humming. The first night it was raining, but the hot tub was definitely amazing. The hot tub felt so relaxing and warm. The animals are so friendly, and they love apples. Everything is so comfortable, the shops are 6 minutes away, and if you have children, this is the best place for them. Believe me, they will remember the experience.
Definitely a lovely stay! The atmosphere was very peaceful, the service was friendly, and the host and hostess were exceptional. Plan to book our summer vacation with the whole family. Highly recommended for a peaceful break from city life!

It was a very nice weekend. Close to shops if you need anything. (Just take peaceful tow and an extra 2 point plug) Everything is very nice, neat and quiet. The area is picturesque with animals roaming freely and birds singing to wake you up in the morning.

The accommodation was nice and close to Cape Town, a little bit of a farm experience with some friendly animals around. Definitely take along some apples for them. You might want to take something for the flies if that is going to bother you. The hot tub was a lovely relaxing experience.
It was nice and the owner is very helpful. There were some inconveniences. Pros: Very close to the city, no need to drive far. Beautiful view and surroundings, very peaceful and good relaxation. Friendly owner. Cons: The hot tub took a long time to heat up and was never blazing hot, even though we followed all the owner's steps and he came to help himself. The geyser gas bottle for the shower was empty when we got there, but even after the owner replaced it, the water temperature kept jumping and it was difficult to maintain a moderate temperature. Finally, wood was not included in the price. I would think it would include at least one bag, and the wood he sells himself is quite on the expensive side. Nowhere on the ad did it say you had to buy there or bring your own.
I loved the no TV as this made for great family time with teenagers. Owners are very hospitable and welcoming.
The hot tub was really a winner.
It is not always that you get everything how, where and what you need in one place. This place has the BBQ, hot tub, location, everything we needed for the weekend, with the bonus of Oscar and friends. Many thanks to Ewald and his team who made everything run so smoothly and pleasantly. Enjoyed the indoor barbecue tremendously in the nice Cape rain weather.
