Our host was very accommodating. The flat was well equipped, comfortable and clean.
5 observations: 1. Thank you Lekkeslaap for telling us about the unit. 2. Stephanie's service was superb. 3. Was advertised as a 6 sleeper. The pull-out couch in the lounge that serves as a 2 sleeper is in my opinion only suitable for 2 young children and not for teenagers. . 4. There is no dining room. The only table for the dining room is the plastic table and chairs. . 5. Be aware that the 2 bathrooms do not have windows. They only have extractor fans.
Only WiFi is definitely lacking and the wall at the top ramp is very much in the way. Difficulty getting out with 4x4 and trailer parking far when packing. Otherwise very neat pool and apartment and nice close to everything.

We were there for a few days in December and, fortunately, we were close to the beach so the boys could walk to the beach. Even though we then experienced beach lockdown, the pool in the complex was a holiday saver for us.
The apartment is neat and offers all the basic necessities for a wonderful holiday by the sea. It is walking distance from the swimming beach and if you just want to sit on the sand and rest, it is right across the road from the apartment. The small garden in front is ideal for the children to play while there is a barbecue, with the sea in the background.
The sea view is great and the unit is a nice size. The swimming pool was also nice and close to number 11. Grandchildren enjoyed it so much, didn't want to go home.
It is very central and incredibly close to the sea which is absolutely a plus point I can absolutely recommend Shay Bay Villas. It is located very close to Manaba beach and also close to shops. Security was on duty at all times and the surroundings are beautiful.
We had a great stay in the unit and it has everything one needs. It is walking distance from Lucien Beach. It has a sea view from the unit and is old but neat and clean. The beach is also one of the best in the South Coast and has blue flag status. We will definitely come again.
More than all the little stars, I can only say, my husband and I's 10 day stay was an absolute rest. The unit was a big surprise - big, comfortable, best, everything was so nice and clean. The complex care, swimming pool, braai area (boma) and incredible view. Safety was the absolute plus points. We really felt like we were at home, just missed our animals terribly. Will definitely see you again! Unbelievable!
