Excellent. However, before one books, it should be made clear on your site that some rooms are on the 2nd story. We are 73. Going up and down those stairs was hazardous and exhausting. That is something all booking sites should make clear on their accommodation site.

Conveniently located near the beach and Superspar.
Accommodation was clean and neat. We stayed in Rose cottage. Ubit had a lounge with TV, kitchen with fridge, a little stove, coffee station and toaster. The bedroom has a bathroom en-suite. The unit is the size of a 1 bedroom granny flat. Enough space to be comfortable for 2 people. Gonubie has a beautiful beach. The accommodation is situated 2 minutes from the beach and supermarkets.
The accommodation is not walking distance from the sea, but close enough and more affordable than places with a sea view. Cider Place is neat and tasteful, lots of space and a nice roof to be able to barbecue. There is enough privacy, but like any apartment where there is another apartment built on top, you can only hear the people above you walking and visiting. Fortunately, we didn't have disturbing neighbors for the most part.
Parking was a bit of a challenge as the parking space available is very tight. But the place was spotlessly clean and comfortably equipped. We didn't need anything more than that.
They upgraded us to a larger unit at no charge. However, gate at parking area could not close.
No outside light at the stoep where you can barbecue and hang out. The accommodation is a nice walking distance from the beach and nice and spacious for a family of 6. Lovely play area for small children as well as a swimming pool. Ideal for a family with young children.
The fridge does not work, so food spoiled. Only one parking for a place that takes 6 people. No under shade parking. Laundry of vacant rooms are left overnight on the washing line, only to be used like the next day.
No reception. Cannot turn on hot and cold water in shower together. Water pressure weak, jet under which a person has to shower. Luckily I took my own towels, because the ones that were there no person would want to use. Oh no, it's just the most unpleasant place I've ever stayed.

The fan in the unit was a nice surprise, because the weekend was so hot. There is a play area for the children on the premises and they really enjoyed it. Very few owners care for children, so it was very nice that 111 Rose and Ale thought of the children.

Manager of guest house was in no way accommodating regarding the misunderstandings about our group's accommodation, cleaning services or the visiting facilities. We will not book with this guest house again, it was extremely disappointing to encounter this "don't care" attitude. The whole weekend we stayed very calm. Except from Saturday night. From around 21h00 there was a lot of noise from the other units. It continued until 05h00 Sunday morning and was very disturbing. Especially when you consider that it was a Sunday.

We were visiting Gonubie for a family function so the accommodation met our needs. Very clean, owner is very friendly. Nice and close to the beach.
Although it was December, there was no cleaning service. The parking is one big problem. There were people with a van D/C and there was a problem with parking every day. There is no space for parking. No, was very disappointed in the whole setup. And there is no real privacy in the blue room when you barbecue. Everyone walks past it. All that is a plus is the fact that it is nice and close to the sea. Walking distance.
Rose cottage is only for 2 people. Space very limited. And space outside also very small.
Unfortunately we only stayed there one night and didn't really have much time to explore the area. There was safe parking for our car and quite close to the room. The room was cozy and private and we enjoyed our stay there. We had to leave very early the next morning for KZN and the conditions there made it very easy for us to get out of there on time without having to wake others up to get to the gate.

It was wonderful to stay in the tasteful, neat and clean unit 6. Friendly and helpful service and a place of peace and rest. All facilities are there with all necessary information for a comfortable stay. Had a great time and will definitely want to come and rest there again. Gonubie is an ideal place for a peaceful, rural atmosphere with just enough facilities so that the ocean is the focal point of the holiday.
The place was neat and well maintained. It's within walking distance to the beach and there's a restaurant in the surroundings. They could perhaps try to improve on ensuring that there's a lock for the small entrance gate as we had a person wandering around at night who knocked at our apartment because he got easy access via the unlocked yard gate. Also maybe add WiFi access at an additional cost as the network was quite limited.
Our flat at Gonubie Sands was well equipped and very cozy. We travelled with a 8 month old baby and although there were no bath in the flat, we were grateful for the washing dish in the cupboard to bathe her in. Just a recommendation, as Freestaters, we had a braai every night and we would have really liked using steak knives.

Had a great stay in the "blue room", it's well equipped and perfect for two people. There is a nice stoep with Weber braai. Friendly pets also come to visit you every now and then. Secure parking behind an electric gate gives you peace of mind that your car is safe. Walking distance from beach, supermarket and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautifully furnished large spacious cottage, I would call it luxurious - and was very surprised that it was of a comparable rate to other less-fancy places we stayed in (which were much more basic!) so really good value for money!
