115 guests' feedbackThis is the place to stay. The owner was friendly and helpful upon arrival. She has a lot of extras in the spots that I haven't seen at other spots. Extras such as earplugs, make-up remover cotton, flash for loadshedding, mosquito repellent, needle and thread kit, umbrella.
Quite impressive - very glad we picked this place in Cullinan.
It was our second time staying here and no regrets at all. The owners were hospitable and made sure we were happy. The room we booked is private and everything was very clean. The bed is very comfortable and we slept great. Restaurants and basic shops are within walking distance. Would highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.
The unit is clean, tidy and well equipped. The detail certainly has a woman's "touch". Everything a resiger needs is there. Even a wine glass and opener. The garden with chairs is perfect to just "unwind" from the daily "rat race". Well located and felt safe.

The owners upgraded us to a larger unit at no cost and without us asking. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the unit. The attention to detail such as ear plugs and extra coffee and tea was also a welcome surprise. 117 on Oak is a beautiful old world guest house that charms and fills you with nostalgia. Still, the facilities are spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to sit on our unit's porch and listen to a variety of garden birds, including the woodpecker. It is conveniently close to the shops and other attractions but dead quiet. We will definitely stay there again.
We actually booked for 2 nights, but our logistical arrangements just didn't work out. We arrived there on Saturday and Lize-Mari left us fresh muffins and coffee! It was so unexpected, and so thoughtful of her! The room is really nice and very well and stylishly laid out with classic furniture but a modern "look & feel". We will definitely go back there again!
Oak Leaf Cottage was comfortable and very peaceful with spacious rooms and exceptionally clean. Love the old/new decor. Much like my own home.

Oak room has small kitchenette to make tea and some snacks. Small touches like bottle of wine, chocolate on pillow. Made to feel very welcome and enjoyed sitting in the garden with very friendly scottie dogs. Small touches everywhere to make your stay comfortable.

Ons het uitgestal by Cullifest, so het bloot 'n oorslaapplekkie gesoek. Ons het egter baie meer gekry! Ons plekkie was hiper skoon en baie goed toegerus! Ons het elke dag vars melk en gebottelde water in die yskassie gekry, sowel as lekker vars gebakte beskuit vir saam met ons koffie! Baie dankie vir die lekker bederf met die vars gebakte muffins, dit was heerlik! Sal definitief weer by julle tuisgaan en ook vriende en familie na julle verwys!
I would suggest that the rooms which are open plan bathroom, bedroom are clearly marked on the web page. It's not something many people like and I just wish I'd known that ahead of time.

Lovely village for a weekend away!
We were greeted by a basket with home-baked fresh bread, wine and chocolates. The landlady met all our needs, we even had cute toys for our little one and our extra needs were met. We highly recommend the guest house for a few nights' getaway or even just one night. There was coffee and tea in all the rooms and everything was simply luxurious. We just wanted to get away from the city for New Years.
Short only a TV there is WiFi so only a TV, and I could connect my laptop there for my sports, Furthermore my children had a festival. My wife may not feel like having the woman there all day to clean on a Sunday, other than that it was very, very nice and would do it again. Thank you for the amenities, especially the kitchen is great if someone likes to cook, the place is great and there is plenty for small children under 4 to keep themselves occupied.
Well located in the centre of everything, shops and restaurants within walking distance. Private and secure location and very quiet. Was just a pleasure and with the most friendly dogs that kept me company till late, love them dearly will return just to see them again.

What an experience. Me and my wife stayed there for a couple of nights to celebrate her birthday and our 48th wedding anniversary and what a surprise. The friendliest service and awesome staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Room was exceptionally clean with everything we needed and more. Jacques and Lize-Mari are friendly and hospitable. It is important to them that every guest feels at home and pampered, and you can see they pay attention to details. The breakfast is freshly baked, very tasty and served with finesse, together with delicious filter coffee. The house, and our room's decor is beautiful - with antiques mixed with modern finishes. We stayed 3 nights and it actually went by too quickly. We will definitely visit again, we really enjoyed it!

The room was a bit small but lacked absolutely nothing and met our need for the weekend. It rained so we couldn't sit outside (rain very welcome, no complaints) but the hospitality of Lize-Marie and family including the Scotties was top notch and the picnic basket breakfast made with so much love was excellent. I can definitely recommend the guest house.

117 Oak is so beautiful. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The hosts at the B&B were so accommodating and catered to our every need. Lovely welcome gift and chocolates in our room. We are vegan and were especially catered for at the delicious breakfast. Felt so at home.
117 on Oak is well situated in the main street. Ample parking on site, secured behind main gate - we even fitted our camping trailer. Our studio style room was absolutely gorgeous and full of lovely, luxury touches. It was equipped with more than we could have expected. Lize-Mari was most welcoming and accommodating, even with our early arrival. The included breakfast was delicious and a generous inclusion. Highly recommend 117 on Oak as it is beyond value for money and has a lovely luxury feel.

We stayed in the little house that used to be an outbuilding. It is very stylishly furnished. The breakfast in the picnic basket is an excellent idea. We had a delicious barbecue that evening on a private stoep. And on top of that, the owners are interesting company! Well done.

We had a great stay at 117 on Oak Ave. We were warmly greeted and made to feel at home immediately. Our unit was clean, had all the appliances, crockery and cutlery that you would require for a self-catering unit. The breakfast was great! Freshly baked scones and muffins and real coffee. Wi-Fi signal is great! One drawback there is only a bath; no shower if you don't like to bath. The host is very attentive and warm and friendly. Had surprise chocolate on the bed when we came back Saturday night and on the last morning, we were given sparkling wine to celebrate my birthday with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Thank you very much Lize-Mari and Jacques for making the stay a memorable one.

Lize-mari is a fantastic host and the cottage was even better than the description and photos. From thoughtful little touches to providing more than the basic essentials nothing was spared.
If you are looking a sterile businessman's hotel type of accommodation, don't book here. But if you are going away on a romantic weekend to a quaint little village and want a comfortable, historic guest house with personal attention from the owner, this is the one! Highlights were the good security, the comfortable king-size bed, the well-appointed kitchen, home-made scones on arrival, sherry every evening and a delicious breakfast under an oak tree every morning. It is close to all the little tourist shops and within a quick walk of the famous Premier Hotel. Note that the room has open hanging space ie: no closed wardrobe and there is no shower, only a bath. However, this did not impact negatively on our visit at all. 117 ON OAK will see us again!

Liza-Marie and Jacques are friendly people. The cottage we stayed in was clean and tidy. The morning breakfast baskets, good morning sunshine, were delicious and real healthy food to start your day more. Even the glass of OBS was a hit just before bedtime. We rested well.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Owners were very hospitable and helpful. I would suggest a ceiling fan and small fridge in the unit for very hot weather. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the breakfast was very nice.
