"Everything is very comfortably furnished and clean."

We had a very nice stay. The WhatsApp group worked like a bomb to communicate anything. Haven't received such professional service at guesthouses/self-catering for a long time.

Surrounding attractions not too far to drive and then you come back to beautiful scenery and breathtaking view with heated splash pool. Value for money.

It is a beautiful place, the rooms are big with both a shower and a bath. They have backup for load shedding. The beds are comfortable.

Thanks to you for our perfect stay. My family were so happy we wished to stay for longer. The place is perfect inside and outside. Very very clean and the host, Elias, was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful with a nice garden view a sliding doors to the patio and facing the garden. The pool was lit. Walking through the garden to the lake was lovely and breath-taking.

Beautiful luxury unit. Enjoyed it immensely. The owner Terry was very helpful. Elias received us nicely and helped where he could. The only fault there was that the roof fans are terribly noisy and can keep you from sleeping. But otherwise beautiful.

Big rooms, lots of bathrooms, nice kitchen and perfect outdoor area for barbecuing, swimming and socializing.

The only problem was there was no DStv. If only the owners can have one, even if it can be OpenView (free) that will be beneficial for the clients.

"The stay was not bad."

When we got there the electricity was off, it was rather cold and we were told that the gas heater is only available during winter which was not stipulated to us beforehand. It was a chilly stay and would have loved to be accommodated. We were also not informed about electricity problem, it would have been appropriate so we could have prepared ourselves. The pool was a disappointment as it is advertised that it can heat up, but it never did. That's false advertisement. We had to keep calling to find out what the issue is and we never got a straight response.

We were charged R100 for one broken plate. I felt it was too much. The jet baths were very relaxing. We really had a great time and will definitely visit again.

Modern kitchen and braai area. The splash pool was a big hit with the kids after a day of sightseeing. The owner was also available at all times for any questions. We will definitely be back again!

Anti-theft at windows as there is no air conditioning. Wanted to leave windows open, but couldn't. Bird life is exceptional and beautiful view.

Enjoyed my time at Hazey River Country Estate. Safe, beautiful, spacious and clean. Has everything needed for all types of people, utensils etc. The view of the area is awesome, very relaxing and thank you for Elias for waiting for us and his warm welcome. The friendliness of the security guards is very calming, the place is nice and quite for all types of people. Loved every minute.
