The house is beautifully designed to maximise comfort and enjoyment, with the open/enclosed braai area really creating the heart of the experience. The enclosed garden let my 2 old dogs roam around in safety, so we could all just concentrate on relaxing. The quiet beach is just a short stroll down the road.

It's a wonderful house with awesome views from the deck. Peaceful and quiet. Recommended if you want to unwind and reset before starting a busy schedule. Close to the beach (400m)!

A very comfortable living house with 2 wings which will make it ideal if 2 families go on holiday together. Children had fun playing around in the attic rooms and because the yard is fenced, it was just a pleasure with our dogs. Will definitely go again!

"Quiet weekend with dogs in Pringle Bay."

It's a nice big house for families (we were only 2 - so basically only used one side of the house). Comfortably equipped. The patio is lovely, with a view of the mountains and very cleverly designed doors. The house is a bit on the dark side when these big doors close. Please sit down. extra "emergency" lights in while it is so loadshed. A nice garden for the dogs to run around, or children if so. Also, maybe just put a more secure lock on the gate in front of the street when animals stay on the premises. Please note I will not leave pets alone in the garden and drive off somewhere. Every now and then a baboon visits the street. A nice short walk to the sea! And you can hear the sea's soothing murmur, even if you don't see it. I would return here again anytime.

620 Anne Road is a fully equipped holiday home, a few meters from the beach. Within a 3 minute walk you are on the incredible beach, away from everything and everyone. It is a spacious house, with enough sleeping space. Furnished for long evenings on the porch and incredibly quiet and peaceful. Next time I will go on holiday there with my family!

Felt right at home, worked from there and the internet was good, had a fail over for lights when there was load shedding, just missed the part about no towels. All in all a wonderful place to stay for both work or vacation!

"Pleasantly surprised."

Excellent home when the weather is good and comfortable during thunderstorms. We were there during 20 Aug with 2 beautiful days and 2 days with very bad weather. Was comfortable throughout. It can easily sleep 4 and even 6 adults, 4 is more optimal if children are added. Then still room for 4 to 6 (younger) children or 4/5 teenagers. House has two sides if 2 families want to share or the children want to sleep separately from the parents. Each side has 1 or 2 bedrooms and bathroom that can be partitioned off from the rest of the house. Both sides lead to the open plan area where there is the kitchen, living, dining and braai room. Open area has a closed combustion fireplace for colder days or evenings or the braai room can be closed to have a good time next to the fire if the weather is bad. Gas geysers are getting past Eskom's unpleasant surprises. Most lights work with solar power. However, the batteries can quickly go flat if the sun is not shining. Luckily there are some lights that work from Eskom power. House is not more than 500 meters from the path that leads to the beach. Easy to walk to the beach and you come out near the corner where the beach and lagoon meet. If you like walking you can walk to the town centre, but with a few goodies from the Minimart and Lemon & Lime you have to drive instead ─ I can't manage to get away from there with few purchases! We would love to go to 620 Anne Road again in the summer. The house can open up very nicely for that nice summer indoor-outdoor living.

"Delightful and beautifully designed beach house - but no internet."

This is a delightful, quiet house just 4 minutes walk from the beach. On the plus side: lovely interior, very well equipped, excellent built-in braai, nice showers with gas heating, alarm, comfortable lounge and fully enclosed so safe for children and pets. On the downside: nowhere to put garbage bags due to baboons (a local nuisance), limited supply of toilet paper (we ran out and had to use kitchen towel), poor cellphone signal (a general local issue). The total lack of internet is not okay in this day and age. The option of DStv for R40/day also seems a bit churlish ─ either have it or don't, why create extra admin for owner and guests? Overall verdict: a beautiful beach getaway - we will be back for sure.
