We were a large group of people and everyone was very happy with the place. The people working there were very nice and helpful.
Unfortunately hot water at shower was out of order.
Very pleasant, clean and quiet, and everything we needed was in the unit. Well located with shops nearby and close to the highway for travel.
Uber for some reason struggles to find the location of the guest house. The payment conversation was cringe, in my experience, once you have arrived at a guesthouse you then make a final payment. The cleaner asked me, and the owner came with a card swipe machine, which I found strange as you sent me a link to make the final payment which I was about to do. However the owner came to collect, which is strange as a person who has booked through the agency numerous times, this was cringy to me.
Room is very nice, but the small living room that is in the kitchen with 4 chairs that are very neglected and TV above the fridge was not pleasant at all. You want to relax and watch TV in the evenings, especially the children, but this was not possible at all. The photos also showed a bathtub in the unit, but there was only a shower.
We were only there for a quick overnight stay, but there was everything we needed there, clean and tidy and the owner was very helpful and pleasant.

Nobody was available for check in using the provided details. After making contact we had to wait for someone to arrive to check us in. Little/no adherence to COVID regulations. Nonsmoking room smelled of smoke. Bedding was stained. Kitchen utensils were disgusting - filthy, moulded, rusted. In general, the room was filthy. There were resident cockroaches. No coffee, dishwashing liquid or soap provided. Each occupant was only provided a single towel. Every issue was addresses with excuses by the owner. Cleaning staff also had a terrible attitude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
We had a very pleasant stay. As needed for sleepover, it was neat, clean and comfortable. Very friendly reception and good security. Can highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute place! The service we received from the staff was friendly and very helpful. We had to stay a night longer at short notice and Maxine did not hesitate to accommodate us. This is beautiful, clean accommodation with pocket-friendly value!

The only thing that got us not so happy was when we just arrived and the person at reception was asking us about the balance as if we didn't know that we have to pay it. But as for the stay it was awesome.

We have stayed here on various occasions in Unit 1. We could put our name on the unit. It's always neat and safe. Gonubie is a very safe place for a holiday and there are various restaurants and shopping centres to visit. We were the honeymoon couple.

Halfway back to Margate from George, after a long tiring week of lawn bowls, 93 On Main was an extremely welcome stop-over for our Group. Next time there's a tournament in the Port Elizabeth area our booking will be made immediately at this establishment.

We had a wonderful stay and it was really a pleasure to be able to relax. Appreciate the cleaning services; feel the team could only put out clean towels/toilet paper every day and leave dish towels in units. We were just a little unsure of what the cleaning services entailed. Overall it was very nice!
The TV above the bed was annoying and uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning and the ceiling fan was on the living room part of the unit. This caused the nights to be very hot as the fan was not sufficient. We gave 8/10.
Other guests throw parties and invite the whole neighborhood and play rock loud music while you have to crawl in early. Fortunately, the owner made a plan after the second complaint.
Although there is a container at the entrance of 93 On Main that looks like a mailbox and could possibly be a container to leave the keys, there was uncertainty as to where to leave the keys to the unit upon our departure. A large group of guests in the main house came in very late at night, made noise and left again very early in the morning. It was disturbing. Parking was tight during our visit as guests arrived in the main house with 2 vehicles and the rest of the units had to park neatly so everyone could move in and out easily. I personally would prefer that the owner consider not allowing pets. There were guests who brought their dogs and they barked at everything and everyone!
We were greeted with a smile and we immediately felt at home. The room was neat and clean. There was nothing short and it really felt like a home away from home.

The place was very clean and fully furnished!!!
There was a misunderstanding with the reservation and they wanted to let our two children sleep on one fold-out couch. At our request they moved us to the main residence and we had a wonderful stay at a very reasonable price. The initial impression the place creates is not very good. I think they could work on the street view a bit. Inside though, it was lovely and clean with the nicest cotton sheets on good quality beds. Thank you!

The place was easy to find and in a good location.
Accommodation was basic, but clean and pleasant. A pleasant neighborhood and close to the beach and places to eat.
Lovely stay in lovely safe and secure environment the only criticism is the daily replenishment of coffee, tea, milk, sugar and toilet paper did not take place. Maybe more staff to assist with this?

Generally not too bad. The only problem was that the owner hadn't updated her records and initially thought we still owed her the balance of our accommodation cost. This was paid by us in July, so there was no excuse for this oversight. The owner did not make a big issue of this matter however.
A very cute place! Would recommend for couples looking to get away for a holiday.
