Accommodation is tastefully furnished with everything we needed. The contactless check-in procedure was very convenient.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Little Guesthouse. We had everything we needed and found the kitchen well-equipped for our family. We really enjoyed the provided coffee and rusks.
Very cute place with everything you need! We checked in late after a long day and to my surprise everything we needed for a nice cup of coffee was available. The management certainly pays attention to fine detail. Was able to get a good night's rest. Very neat and clean in a quiet beautiful area.
We had a very nice stay at A Little Guesthouse, we were received very kindly. Everything you need and extra was there. We got biscuits and three different coffees, there was also filtered water. The bathroom had shampoo and shower gel. And the bonus is the electric blankets. Krummel the security (Miniature Schnauzer) came to greet us very kindly. This Guest House is very well organized, get your key without difficulty and drop key in the box when you drive, we already left at 6 o'clock. Very close to the N1. It feels like you are on the farm in the city. We will definitely stay there again.
The very friendly staff made sure we were comfortable during an unexpected power outage. Our expectations were exceeded when we saw the filter coffee. It's the little things in life that make you happy.

We only stayed overnight and were back on the road early, but everything went smoothly. Unit was nice and clean and everything you need for overnight or even a longer stay is in the unit.
We slept so well. The name says it all. A Little Guesthouse. It's small, but enough for an overnight stay.
We haven't been so impressed with a guest house in a long time. The shady garden is an oasis after a long day in the car. The variety of magazines was a treat. The kitchen is fully equipped and there was even filter coffee! Our teenagers were grateful for good WiFi signal.

We slept over for a night traveling back from St Helena Bay to Pretoria. The unit we slept in (6) has everything one needs. The bathroom, however, is very small and a big person will struggle to access the shower. Space is limited. This is the only negative I can mention. The rest was good.

A few small items need maintenance: Toilet is loose, curtain hooks are loose and ceiling is stained from the roof leak.

Caravan entrance not really suitable for normal road caravans. Had quite a struggle getting in and out of there. Caravan very scuffed underneath. But for the rest, no complaints.

Annelie accommodated us in every possible way, the rain disrupted all our family gathering plans and A Little Guesthouse assisted us in every way and provided a canopy with tarpaulins and heaters, I can definitely recommend them.

The place is very neatly furnished. It really has everything you will need. DSTtv, radio, magazines to read if you don't want to do any of the other 2. The place is also very clean. It's just outside Bloemfontein and it feels like you're a little closer to nature. Restaurants and Bloemfontein are close by if you want to go there. Will go there again.
Comfortable, well equipped and the location is ideal for overnight purposes. Reception is easy as you get a gate code and keys are in a safe so you can literally stop and stay. We forgot a mobile phone charger there and Annalie let us know, she wanted to send it on but we just went to charge it on our way back to the Cape. Annalie and all the staff there make you feel really welcome, it was our third time staying there and it is my "go to" overnight from Cape Town to Pretoria.
The guest house can be recommended with confidence. The unit is neat and secure and as a bonus is located close to shopping centres. We will definitely book again at A Little Guesthouse.

I stayed in Room 6. I would recommend that the interleading doors between rooms be made far more "sound proof" as the occupants in the next room could be heard speaking. They were not noisy merely having a conversation but it was rather distracting. Other than this inconvenience it is a great location to stay at when travelling between Western Cape and Gauteng.
Because we stayed for more than 1 night, I chose this room because the living area (sofa with extra chair) gives more space. Yes, the bedroom is very small. I also found a mattress "thickener" in the closet that can be pulled over the hard mattress to soften it. Would like to recommend putting a large mirror above the sink (take the one by the bed?), the current cabinet is too small and tall. Also a large double hanging rail for the bath towels. This guesthouse is always my first choice when I come to Bloemfontein. But if we didn't get the discount, we most likely wouldn't have slept here, prices over R1000 a night are getting too expensive for the average person.

We stayed in a 4 sleeper. Really nice and clean with great service. One of the beds in the front area(kitchen) was incredibly uncomfortable. Also, think if you maybe invest in a swimming pool, more people will like to stay over.

The check-in process was easy and we were communicated with throughout. We were informed about the nearest shops/restaurants and the Farmer's Market on a Saturday (we really enjoyed it). The accommodation met all our requirements and we lacked nothing. Everything is clean and tidy and our unit was even cleaned on Saturday. There is a nice peaceful atmosphere, feeling as if you are away from the city's hustle and bustle even though it is close to cute shopping centers. The service and hospitality is great! We were kindly received by the owner, and the subscription arrangements, e.g. gate and key cache codes were communicated to us in advance in a timely and complete manner. We spent the night at the guest house, we were told in advance exactly how the entrance works with photos, Aunt Annelie is incredibly lovely and friendly. The guest house is very neat and fully equipped, and provision has been made with mosquito nets if necessary. The garden with lights is beautiful, we really felt at home and safe. Will definitely stay there again.

Situated in a beautiful setting, very close to the N1 motorway with a few goats kept in a camp. In SA, one's safety is not guaranteed at all, but at the institution there really is nothing more that can be done to ensure their guests' safety as far as possible.
The place is very clean and the linen smelt fresh. The shower was a bit small and seems to have had a problem recently as the tiling on the floor did not look good. However, we were very happy.

Just off the N1. The place was neat and clean and well decorated. We were staying over on Christmas Eve when most restaurants are closed - I messaged the owners for suggestions. We stayed in room 5 for the weekend of the 12 to 14 July 2019. Lovely place at reasonable rates if you just happen to be in Bloemfontein and need an awesome place to stay. This little apartment in which we unfortunately only stayed for one night is very nice. The owners have thought of everything and the little apartment is fully equipped for everything. We were received very kindly and had a very nice stay. Our car was safely behind gates and we felt safe. It would be nice to be able to stay more than one night. There are delicious barbecue places outside as well.

A Little Guesthouse is without a doubt the very best guest house I've stayed at. There is everything you could ever think of needing, even needle and thread, mosquito net with mats and nut coffee! Provision for power cuts with lights, a gas plate, hot water bags and mosquito coils with a lighter! The service is excellent, and the staff friendly and helpful. It's a beautiful place and although close to the city it feels like you're far away, which creates a very nice and peaceful atmosphere. It was ideal for me and my son who was close to his tournament so that we could come back between games and he could also pay attention to his academics in peace. We were traveling as a group of 7 family members from Cape Town back home in Ballito and needed to find a place to sleep for the night. It was short notice, but we were welcomed with open arms as if we had all been friends for years. It was such great service! The units were incredibly clean and tidy and just nice to rest in! The air conditioners in the 2 units we rented did not work, but that's just a small thing to watch out for. Definitely a place we would recommend!

The unit is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The air conditioner in Room 3 may need attention as the room was very hot upon arrival and the air conditioner did not help much in cooling the room.

It's the nicest atmosphere! Close to all the places I wanted to be! I drove an average of 5 to 10 minutes to all the places I wanted to go from the guest house. Yet it feels like one is outside the town! I forgot my water bottle that I had filled with their fresh borehole water in the fridge, and it was barely 10 minutes after I left when they called and said they were keeping it in the fridge for me, I can take it to my meeting pick up again! I would definitely stay there again!

This guest house is a beautiful place, with a delicious barbecue area and a nice cool lawn to relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in unit 5. This unit has an awful lot of dampness. Although it was beautifully neatly painted and spotless, the paint was lifted everywhere due to dampness. The bathroom had an overwhelming smell of musty and dampness. The cupboards in the kitchen were washed with some kind of anti-mold chemical. Unfortunately, this caused the plates, cups and glasses to smell of the chemical substance every day. The sugar also had to be kept in the fridge to prevent the chemical smell. I would recommend an air conditioner for the open plan living room. The one in the bedroom kept the sleeping area wonderfully cool.

My husband, myself and 2 of our adult children stayed at A Little Guesthouse on our way back home from the Western Cape. Dead tired from 900 km of driving, we arrived at the guest house where we immediately felt at home. Safe, tidy place with everything you might need. Will definitely recommend to others and will stay there again.
Thank you for your hospitality and neat, clean facilities. However, the facilities are only suitable for two people. The kitchen area where the children had to sleep was stuffy and incredibly hot. In the end, all four of us (try to) sleep in one room.
Fully equipped, very clean and it has everything one could need for a self-catering stay. It's only the air-con in unit 5 that doesn't cool.

A small guesthouse with a big heart. For what we paid, we couldn't believe all the pampering and comfort. Every need has been thought of. Enough milk for coffee and tea, enough and tasty biscuits. Aircon as well as fans. Enjoy reading magazines. Information about the area, free Wi-Fi, creams and soaps in the bathroom, Doom stickers even though there wasn't even a mosquito in sight, a nice barbecue outside, nice furniture, crockery with pure white bed linen and extra blankets. But best of all, thank you Annalie for your warm welcome, kindness and conversations. We needed accommodation on Christmas Day and New Years and on both holidays you were ready to carry us on your hands. It's the type of service and convenience that one just wants to "copy and paste" to make the whole world a better place. Big thanks!

Accommodation has all the equipment and more for overnight accommodation. Clean white bed linen. We forgot two items there and within half an hour we were contacted to make arrangements on how to get items to us. With the heat wave over the region, it was very thoughtful to have air conditioning turned on on arrival after a long journey! Strongly recommended.

The location of the place makes you feel more like you are outside the city and yet it is just a stone's throw away from the city activities. We had a very nice stay and were also surprised that one is so close to the N1, but that one hardly hears it at all. Felt like we were on a farm! Due to security reasons, the rooms are just a little more lit than we are used to.

We were in room 4. When you arrive it doesn't look like much but the rooms were planned with so much care and attention to little detail which makes one's life so much easier after a long travel. I have never found any of the following in a room: rusks, milk, anti mosquito rugs, umbrella for the rain. Parking is in front of the door. Reception was friendly and helpful with information of nearest restaurants and where shopping can be done. My wife and I will definitely stay here again when we visit Bloemfontein. Good organisation in terms of arrival and departure. Gate codes and door codes are provided via SMS beforehand. I am impressed.

We traveled with our 11 month old son. The room was big enough and there is a nice lawn. They were kind enough to bring us a baby bath as there was only a shower in the room. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

The bedside lamp has a short circuit (safety risk). Refrigerator that is so noisy it has to be turned off to sleep. Internet is not working. Request for no feather pillows has been ignored. No one, not even by phone, on duty to help with problems encountered. It is really far below the standard that travelers expect.
A Little Guesthouse will definitely see us again. The whole experience was a pleasant one. The social area was a welcome extra and I also heard lions.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at A Little Guesthouse! The cleanliness of the unit immediately struck me and I could smell the freshness of the unit. After a 6 hour drive this was a welcome oasis where we could relax in the peaceful atmosphere. No noisy city traffic or other disturbances! We even heard the lions roar and that was obviously a big highlight for me. The personal attention of the owners by turning on our bedside lamps at night so that we don't walk into a dark unit was also a big bonus for me. We plan to stay at A Little Guesthouse again every time we visit Bloemfontein.
We will definitely stay here again. It is neat and quiet. Except early morning when you wake up to the singing of birds and roaring of lions, but that just makes it more special! The fact that you get a choice of coffees (large containers full) was also a plus, we usually take our own coffee and milk with us, but could just take it back home. I would recommend A Little Guesthouse as an overnight stop or to spend time in Bloemfontein!

The guest house is very neat and convenient. It is close to the N1 and shopping centres. We will go there again any time and also highly recommend it. It's those extra things that count like enough wall plugs, a radio, full sugar bowl, enough tea, coffee, salt, pepper, delicious biscuits and many more. There were enough pillows without a bunch of loose small pillows that always end up in such a sleepover. The kindness of Annelie, her son who went out of his way to help with everything, and all the other staff were outstanding.
We found the place without difficulty and felt very welcome. We were very surprised to see how conveniently everything was arranged and very tasteful at that. Our next visit to Bloemfontein we definitely know where we will stay again.

The unit was incredibly neat and well equipped. We were so grateful for the tea/coffee/sugar/milk that was provided for our one night stopover en route to Cape Town! This is one of the best guest houses in its price range in Bloemfontein. This is the 6th guesthouse I've stayed at in Bloem and A Little Guesthouse stands head and shoulders above them all. The place is clean, spacious, well maintained, quiet, close to the N1 without hearing the noise, with secure undercover parking. The hostess provides thorough instructions of where to park, how to get in, where to get the keys etc. I can recommend A Little Guesthouse with the utmost confidence. The ideal place to stay for a part-time student who needs to attend contact sessions at the university, business traveler or a stopover between traveling somewhere. It's close to everything but still the place has a nice peaceful farm feeling without any noise. It's very comfortable, clean and tidy with everything you need. Place works very well from the day before the time you get the codes until you stand in your room. Place is very neat and for the price you really can't find anything wrong. The gas heater's gas was finished, but I didn't find it needed and the oven of the stove was not working. But I stay all over the country in guest houses this is one of the best you will buy with your rand. Thank you very much.

We came from Pretoria to attend a function in Bloemfontein. We immediately went to the function and the lady accommodated us by leaving us the keys so we could check in late. We appreciated it so much. The room is extremely neat and fantastically equipped. Perfect for what we needed. Krummel, the schnauzer, stole my heart.
