We had a wonderful stay. Tip: Wifi box should be placed upstairs to improve the signal as it was slow when located downstairs. Some bathroom fittings can be serviced. Maybe one or two more sun loungers outside. Thank you for a wonderful stay though, we will definitely be back!

We had a really nice stay. Because our family was only 5, unfortunately they only unlocked the lower part for us, but it was still delicious. The lower part of the house's rooms, kitchen and living room are quite small but very neat, well furnished, and nicely decorated. We had a really nice stay. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. We felt right at home and the house has a very friendly atmosphere. The view is just indescribably beautiful. We had to work from home, and the WiFi was reliable and good. We would struggle to ever stay anywhere else in Swakopmund again.

"Very nice close to everything, neat and clean."

We had a great time, children played well. The following things are not negative comments at all, rather see them as valuable tips for future guests who might also notice them. The 2 garbage cans downstairs are very small, which means they fill up quickly, and we were 10 people for 5 days. Each little bin only had 1 black bag in it, and there were no extras in the house to put back in when our bins were full, so maybe they could just leave a few extra black bags for guests and maybe get a bigger bin, then the black bags will last longer too, because the small bins fill up quickly. They only put 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, we were 8 women and 2 men, so for 5 days it is unfortunately not enough, maybe they could put 1 extra roll in each bathroom too. The lights at the dining room table are very nice and fancy, but only 1 of the 6 bulbs worked, so they might just replace it, so that it is less dark at the barbeque and dining area. Then a normal folding grill will also be handy, because you can't really grill bread and sausage on an open grid grill like what was in the braai, because how do you turn the sausage and buns without a folding grill? Just a hint. The last thing that draws guests to the house is the view of the sea when you sit down, and on the photos on the website it looks like an open beach in front of the house, but when we were there there was a big sand bank pushed right in front of the wall, so my mother-in-law who can't climb stairs, couldn't see the sea from the lower part because the sand bank closes everything. So maybe they should just mention it to guests or upgrade the photos, because otherwise it's a misconception you get of your real view. As I say, these are not negative comments, rather things that can make the stay even more enjoyable and better. Everything was clean and tidy, there was a dishwasher with enough tablets and everything else you need was there. Children had fun playing at the park next to the museum, close enough to walk. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed it.

Although we payed for 5 rooms (the whole house), the agent only allocated 3 rooms to us. The 2 best rooms can be locked and separated from the rest of the house. We were 2 unmarried couples and 2 single guests, she knew this. Despite of this, she only allocated us 3 rooms of which one had a double bed and the other 2 rooms had single beds. My daughter stayed there before and she insisted on having the whole house. The 2 rooms we couldn't use had the best views!

Beautiful house on the beach, but the lovely outdoor area didn't feel very accessible. An awful lot of alarms, beams, anti-theft devices, so you actually feel locked in on the beach. Many tramps and beggars. There is another security guard as well. I never felt like leaving a door open. Didn't actually allow the kids alone on the beach either. The idyllic setting unfortunately did not work here. The outside area looks lovely in the photos, but you will have to carry everything in every night to prevent theft. So no, that sounds like work. The outside area could also have been cleaner (that is if you wanted to sit there).
