A great place to visit in winter especially, with everything in arm's reach even on those chilly nights. The jacuzzi is beautifully positioned so that you can chill in there while the fire is going. Everything is tastefully decorated and everything is provided for a wonderful self-catering getaway.
It was a pleasant stay, just a shame that the owner lives on site and it feels very much like an "Old Age Home". We are not even allowed to play some music throughout the day. So if you want to get away from the city noise and come to relax in silence, the place will be for you.
It was a lovely weekend.
My daughter and I rented the unit that also has a Jacuzzi. We always felt safe, and could relax wonderfully. The Jacuzzi is also private, and it was lovely to relax in it. Heidi also informed us about the load shedding times, as well as things happening in Langebaan that we would enjoy. The house is not close to the sea, but that didn't bother us at all, especially since it was a bit cold. We had full DStv access, even with load shedding, and the WiFi was very good all the time. We will definitely go and relax there again.
Overall a nice stay even for kids with Wi-Fi and warm water to enjoy. Beautiful quiet surroundings. Kitchen is a tight squeeze (doesn't have a scissor), but the unit is quaint. Neat and clean. Clean bedding and main room's bed is comfortable. Smaller bed mattresses have sinking centers. Jacuzzi was a lekker place to relax with the sun hitting it and has sectional coverage from the winds of Langebaan. Even when there were loadshedding we weren't left in the dark, which is always a plus. The accommodation is located close to a nature trail and a short drive from the lagoon and shops. It has a high level of security and easy parking.
We had better. Wifi kept dropping, kitchen too small for the table and chairs in it. The bathroom basin too high to use for short people, unpractical. Had to phone the host as they were not on site, drums were not clean and the main bedroom bedding was horrible to sleep under.
We will definitely come again. It was a nice relaxing weekend in a fantastic place. We can confidently recommend it. Thank you Heidi.

At Unwind you can relax wonderfully in the peaceful surroundings and soak in the hot tub until the sun goes down. Extremely clean and tidy accommodation with very friendly reception. Will stay there again.

Being able to relax in the jacuzzi was bliss. The house had everything one would need and was very clean. It's abit dark in the main room and kitchen.The kitchen area is abit small but other than that the house itself was perfect for braai's outside by the jacuzzi. Town is only a short drive away and it was peaceful where we stayed. We were allowed to use the Wifi which obviously was a bonus for my 10 and 8yr old. Heidi was a great host.

The little fountains right next to our door were beautiful in the day but a big nuisance at night. All I heard all night was dripping water in the fountain. They don't turn it off at night. Security gate packed up and had to be opened and closed manually. On the last morning I got up early at half past seven to get ready only to discover there was no hot shower water.

Ideal for a getaway for a couple. The fridge was more than we expected and the kitchenette very cute.
No WiFi or welcome pack. Incredibly dark inside with poor lighting. Only saw owner vining when we arrived and never again after that. Shower was full of moss and all the blinds very dirty.

A real lovely place to just relax and truly unwind.
Compares well with a 3-star hotel room, but a bit cramped and impractical kitchenette with microwave that was broken. However, for our purposes it was still value for money as we ate at local restaurants with positive experiences on the recommendation of the hostess.

We had a comfortable stay, the venue is very quiet. The single beds were not a problem, but the mattresses were a bit thin for 2 adults, kids would not mind. Other than that, everything was cool!

The place was dirty, the single matress was SHOCKING and the owner told us on arrival to put two mattresses on top of each other. The one couch is shocking, you sit on the springs (like the mattress). The main bedroom had nothing in front of the one glass panel - the owner said the blind was in for repairs. SHOCKING! The owner rushed us on the last day at 08:20 already and asked if we were ready to leave as she expected other guests.
We spent 4 nights at Unwind, our host's were friendly and very helpful. The flat is beautifully set up & very comfortable, the outside surroundings have decor and small touches that aim to make it calming & peaceful. My husband, folks & myself loved our stay here, Thank you Heidi, Tina & Derrick!

Beautiful surroundings and beautiful garden. Good idea to have coffee, tea, etc. to provide, would only recommend that bottled water be placed in the fridge as well. Nice to be able to drink delicious cold water if you are hot and tired.
