12 guests' feedbackIt is a fantastic place where you can get peace and quiet. The host is really friendly, and the place itself is a really great experience. You are close to nature and have a lot of wildlife around you. The food was really tasteful and well-prepared. This is a must to stay.
We read that the venue has conference facilities and booked just for that. After many attempts to get hold of manager there, she mentioned to my assistant that we would be able to use wi-fi for conference calls. When we arrived, we were to find out that the conference facility is also the common dining room. It is therefore impossible to use as a conference facility. The wi-fi was also so weak that we couldn't use Skype at all. We feel very strongly that this venue should not advertise conference facilities. The surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and the tranquility wonderful, but unfortunately it did not meet our expectations as promised.
I would really recommend the Ndebele Cottages for an authentic bush experience. We loved it. Comfortable clean beds and the basics. We will be back.
It was a privilege to stay at the Palace, the team is very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommended.
Friendly staff and easy communication because I speak their language. Management very professional and exceptionally friendly, open to any discussion. Jonathan took his own time in the evening waiting for us to come back from the Schotia Game Drive. Disappointed that breakfast was not included in the booking price and I think they should work on their payment follow up.
We enjoyed our stay away from the noise and the crackers of the end of year celebrations. On the last evening of 2014 the sounds of nature and the crackling of the bonfire was all we heard... which was sheer heaven!
Awesome place! Jonathan and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed the kudo potjie and staff choir on Saturday evening, and the big bonfire and starry night. Note that Addo Palace no longer has any self-catering units.
Very nice peaceful place. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and clean. The meals were delicious. Staff very helpful and the car was even washed before we left!
Lovely place to stay in the area where the towns are less tidy and clean. If you want to go to the elephant park, you must include travel time.
The kitchen facilities are not up to expectations. Otherwise we had a very nice stay.
Everything was very nice and peaceful. The only problem is that two units are not completely private due to a wall that is not closed. Otherwise it was delightfully peaceful and cosy, with very friendly management.
I would recommend the place only for students at R200 per night per student.
