Adel Cottage is equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable self-catering experience. The cottage also has Netflix and DStv available. Elsabe was very hospitable and helpful with suggestions about activities in the area. The house is located close to the main road which makes it easy to visit all restaurants and shops. The roads in that area are very bad and would recommend to drive with a van or SUV. Can definitely recommend Adel Cottage for a peaceful and relaxing break.

A roomy, but cozy, well equipped cottage with breath taking mountain views. A really great place to chill out yet conveniently situated to enjoy all that the Champagne Valley has to offer.
Elsabe is an excellent hostess and was always ready to help. Adel Cottage is excellently equipped, comfortable and very beautiful. Everything was there! Even a closet with Peaceful Sleep, plasters, deodorant and a hair dryer. Not to mention the view! I can definitely recommend it!
View was beautiful and is nice and close to attractions. Place was well equipped. Children really enjoyed the freedom of the farm.
The cottage is well furnished with everything a guy could need. An extra warm blanket would have been welcome as it was a cold week. Also take your own wood with you, because there is no wood at the cottage upon your arrival.

Adel Cottage is beautiful. Elsabe is a very good hostess who makes sure that everything runs smoothly. It is very well equipped, clean and tidy. It has a very nice sitting area on the veranda with a wonderful view of the mountain.
Friendly owners and adorable pets. Wheelchair accessible and friendly. Comfortable with all creature comforts catered for. Only self-catering. Security is of a high standard. Roads to and from are not very good. Find your own outdoor activities, there are many in the area.
Adel Cottage is elegantly, tastefully and extremely comfortably furnished and has all the necessary ingredients you can think of to just come and relax, rest, delight yourself in the silence, colors and views in an ideal location in the middle of the Central Drakensberg. It's a combination of farm holiday and comfort in your private 6 bedroom, luxury cottage with more than enough space to have a good time. Good sleep, good rest, good visit and good food are guaranteed!

We enjoyed the accommodation a lot. Had a good rest. Children (3 and 7) also enjoyed it a lot. The house had a great view of the valley. There's quite a few stores and road stalls close to the farm. The owners were very helpful with helping us to find the place. Very neat.

Elderly parents with wheelchair enjoyed the easily accessible bath and shower. View over Champagne Castle amazing and at night you hear the waterfall over the dam nearby. Lady who worked in the kitchen was efficient, nice and an asset.

We were a group of 6 adults staying for 3 nights. The experience was wonderful with Elsabe being a very friendly and obliging host. The house is spacious and well furnished with the patio commanding excellent views of the mountains. The area has many interesting activities (canopy tours, crafts etc) and a lovely dam, Bell Park, where you can picnic.
