The house was as advertised. Plenty of space and everything was clean. The only downside was that rooms 4 & 5 have one entrance, so you need to go through room 4 to get to room 5 upstairs, which impedes on your privacy. However, if you have kids willing to share, then it will be okay. Will definitely go back to Ahoy - great value and a great house and garden.

Ahoy is nicely located close to everything, the premises are nice and clean, as is the house. Bonus is that it is animal friendly and our 4 paws had a great time together.
Required times for check in after 2pm, check-out at 10 am are not convenient at all. But manager Camilla was very helpful with the early checking in and late checking out.
All the rooms in the farmhouse were spacious and clean. Customer service happened via WhatsApp (no personal contact). Ahoy is situated in the centre of the town so one can easily walk to restaurants and shops.
Stay was pleasant, apart from the discomfort endured with the drain system which had to be fixed on 2 occasions, the wash basin tap which was loose, as well as the toilet seat's connector which was loose. The driver was also not seen during our 6 day visit. Holes in the fence were observed and reported.
It's a nice house. Rooms are perfect and environment is very neat peaceful area to visit.

I found I didn't relax from making the booking to leaving. I have never had someone message me so often asking for ETA on arrival. Makes the trip unpleasant to the destination. When it clearly says the arrival time is from and to and please phone when you arrive at Vrendal. But instead from the get-go, ETA ETA ETA. Then wake up to a message saying I will be there at 10. That communication made the whole stay uncomfortable! Also the gaps in the windows when they are closed causes a draft throughout the house.
Ahoy Farmhouse is very peaceful, owners very friendly.
What we loved about the place was the privacy. It was an amazing getaway.

House is neat and spacious, was a bit windy, so couldn't actually swim, garden is very nice especially for summer days, als is within walking distance, atmosphere is very peaceful. Maybe it would be good if there could be an iron in it and WiFi, but other than that it was great, will go back again in a warmer time.
We had a lovely stay at Ahoy. It had lots of space, the kitchen was full of all the amenities, and little details had been thought of. Books, magazines, cards and games were provided, and it's a stone's throw from the many restaurants and shops Paternoster has to offer. A lovely stay!

We as a family really enjoyed being able to walk to everything we wanted to be and knowing that everything would be safe at the accommodation. WiFi would have been a plus.

We had a big group but Ahoy 1 has space to spare. You never feel crowded or cramped. It is a lovely old house with renovated bathrooms and a big spacious kitchen. Beds well furnished and comfortable so everyone slept well. Close to the beach and all the happenings in the main street.
