Aldigo Bush Lodge offers comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation for 18 people, just 40 km from Marble Hall and approximately 160km north of Pretoria.
The lodge comprises the 2-sleeper Main Lodge, 6 to 8-sleeper Sable Lodge, and 3 freestanding chalets that can each accommodate 2 people. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels. Bedding and towels are replaced for stays longer than 5 days.
The Main Lodge comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, the main kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, a shower, and a toilet.
The Sable Lodge comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, and the other 2 contains 2 single beds each which can be converted into king-size beds. The 2 bathrooms fitted with a bath and a hand-held shower, and a toilet, and shared between the rooms.
Each of the freestanding chalets are furnished with 2 single beds, and share the use of ablution facilities with showers, and toilets.
The large kitchen in the Main Lodge is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. A borehole provides water which can be boiled for hot beverages and cooking but as it is not palatable by all guests, guests please need to bring their own water for drinking. A big freezer is also available for guests to bring their own ice.
The lounge features a Smart-TV with an internet connection to access Netflix and DStv; guests please need to use their own username and password. Wi-Fi is available, but please note cellphone signal is limited.
Guests can explore the area on foot or on bicycles, relax in the entertainment area, or cool off in the swimming pool. Braai facilities are also available. A limited amount of wood is provided. Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
On weekdays dishes are washed and rooms straightened on request. The braai area is also cleaned. No cleaning is done on Sundays or holidays except if it is arranged beforehand at additional cost.
