The tastefully decorated holiday home has been divided into 2 separate units. Unit 1 can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children and Unit 2 can accommodate up to 4 guests. Each unit has a relaxed open-plan living area with a TV that has selected DStv channels while the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave and kettle. Unit 2 is also equipped with a washing machine and a dishwasher for added convenience. Guests in both units have access to built-in braai facilities, and can also enjoy sea views.
Stilbaai is the ideal holiday destination with its clean extensive sandy beaches, the lagoon and the 15-km long navigable Goukou River. Activities include swimming, sunbathing, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, angling, walking, sailing, canoeing, boating and water-skiing.

We couldn't ask for better. Right by the beach and harbor. Could see how the fresh fish are pulled out every afternoon and it's safe and you walk across the road to the beach which is breathtakingly beautiful.
Die Hawehuis is one amazing house with ample space and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The house is perfectly situated with a stunning view of the bay. We cannot fault this place.

Beautiful place to stay with a breathtaking view and a fantastic braai and patio. The place is so beautiful and comfortable with everything you might need from wood to even blitz. The decor is next level and the rooms and bathrooms are nice and luxurious. We had a great time. You forget about load shedding with the solar panel that provides power and will not cause any interruption in your rest and relaxation. Definitely value for money!
The harbor house makes you feel right at home and there is nothing better for the soul than enjoying the beauty of the sea on your doorstep.
Comfortable, well-stocked, spacious house with luxury finishes. The location is perfect and the view is amazing. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the short break.

Was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful decor, space, cleanliness, view and fully equipped Hawehuis. The view from the stoep is so special that you just want to spend the whole day there. Thank you for letting us visit your house, Janneke, we will definitely come again. The location of the Hawehuis is excellent and you can just walk wherever you want to be, eat at Achor Restaurant, swim in the sea, surf, fish, snorkel and much more.

The Hawehuis was a lovely break and exceeded our expectations. It is nice and spacious and comfortable with a view over the whole bay and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend with our children.
Our time there was too short. There is a lot to do and very little has been achieved. I would like to stay there for 2 weeks. Very nice and tidy units with everything you need. If the weather is not nice, you just sit on the stoep and still see the sea on your stoep and living room. We saw the dolphins clearly from there and also two kingfishers diving in the shallow water for fish, what an incredible experience. Thank you very much.
Beautiful place with the most beautiful view. Clean and tidy and tastefully furnished. Would definitely recommend it. Stilbaai is a very good area for a peaceful getaway. It will avoid confusion if the units have numbers on the doors.
Check-in information was clearly communicated. Everything was ready and available as described in the ad. Beds and linen were of good quality and we slept well. We did have a cold shower the first night, because the gas for the geysers had run out, but that was quickly rectified the next morning. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your holiday home. We can really recommend it.

We wanted a house by the sea and not disappointed. Far better than expected. House is very well maintained, decorated well, fully stocked with what you need for self catering and so much more. Lots of lovely touches and gestures that made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

If only we lived closer we would be there much more often. We were so lucky to see a whale from the porch. You can see everything from the veranda ─ whales, restaurant, children in the sea etc. Neat place with everything you could need.

The decor is modern and thoughtful and the flat is equipped with everything you need. The houses in that road have no numbers so it is the very last house. There is a big BUT in this property as the top floor noises filters down to the first floor with scarping of chairs etc and we had very noisy neighbors that weekend. BOOK the top flat. I was disappointed as I believed that was what I had booked Apartment 2 not 1. I so enjoyed my walks on the beach and the delicious fresh fish on my doorstep. Still Bay is a lovely place!
The accommodation at Die Hawehuis, has to be one of the best experiences I have had in all my years of travelling (from the US to Asia to Europe). The decor and attention to detail is way beyond what you would expect (I realise this is a family home, but they really have ensure the unit has a homely feel and is fully equipped with everything you would need). I love the little inspirational message thought the unit and the quality finishes. Best part is the view, on a calm day, you could sit on the balcony for hours and watch the sea. I really cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home.

Breathtaking views from the balcony. Highly recommended. Would highly recommend Die Hawehuis for accommodation in Stilbaai. The location is perfect. Excellent ocean views. Short walk to the harbour where you can get excellent coffee and fresh fish. Within walking distance of the swimming beach and estuary. Because Hawehuis is in a cul-de-sac, there is no passing traffic, which makes it safe to walk in the street and there's also no road traffic noise.

Directly behind the harbour, walking distance to Skulpies Bay. It is lovely to see the fishing boats come in. Thank you very much!

Lovely stay with exceptional location, breathtaking view! Plenty of everything we needed. Having problems with certain electrical equipment which had worn out. It did not detract from the whole of the accommodation which was still very good. Attention has been paid, but of course it could not be repaired in the blink of an eye. Owners were more than willing to help. Will make a plan to return. Probably best accommodation in Still Bay.

Two large containers right on top of each other which was supposed to be our view of the sea. There, builders were also busy mixing cement, gravel and operating in front of the yard. We were not informed about it in advance at all, so we could decide for ourselves if we wanted to relax like this.
Well located self-catering accommodation for 2 families on upper and lower levels, each opening onto a lovely veranda overlooking the sea. It's on the beach by the harbor and you can sit and watch the whales from the porch.
Our weekend was great. The Hawehuis met all our family's needs. The view was breathtaking. It is perfectly located. We will definitely go back again.
Positive: Spacious unit, spotlessly clean, well and tastefully furnished. At the port, on the beach. Very friendly and accommodating owners. All DStv channels. Decent wine glasses. Large porch with braai overlooking the sea. Negative: no butter knives, only steak knives. Oven not working. TV in dining room, far from sofas. No hand soap or dish soap. Would sleep more soundly if there were burglar bars in front of bedroom windows or a fence. Currently major building work at 2nd erf further on which can be noisy during weekdays.
The unit was spacious, clean and tidy with a fantastic view of the sea. We could experience the sea with all our senses - truly unbeatable. Our hostess went to great lengths to make things comfortable for us - thank you very much Lijanda. We will definitely come back here again.

Everything was perfect when we arrived at Die Hawehuis Unit 2. The view is so beautiful and it doesn't matter whether the wind blows or nog, you sit on the balcony or inside, view stays the same. I have a big issue with worn mattresses, but this mattress was the best I've had in a long time at a self-catering place, and we travel a lot! Two things I missed: baby mat in the second bathroom as well as face cloths. When I wash my hair the normal bath towel is to big to wrap around my head. And I don't think there is a hair dryer, but maybe I didn't look properly because I brought my own. All things considered it was a very nice place - just prepare yourself for the stairs - you have to haul you luggage up and down.
Will recommend Die Hawehuis as a very nice place to stay.
We have been at Die Hawehuis for 10 days and enjoyed every day at this wonderful location and the beautiful house. There was nothing short of making your stay comfortable. Lijanda was a very nice host and very accommodating as my Husband had his 80th Birthday at the House. We will be back.
This house is very clean, neat and well-equipped with a lovely view of the sea. The location is brilliant and the house is situated in a dead end street so there is no traffic. Very calm and relaxing so definitely worth staying here. The only thing that was missing was a braai dish in which to put the meat after you've barbequed it.
Very neat accommodation and children could just walk to the sea and back. Good value for money.
Guest house was great, everyone is friendly, very laid back and relaxing. The view just made my day everyday. Will definitely go back there.
Our experience of the Hawehuis was fantastic right from the start. The location is wonderful and the view unbeatable. Lijanda's service was fantastic and the units are incredibly neat and clean. Beach, surf and lovely restaurant within 3 minutes' walk from the Hawehuis's front door!

Thanking the owners of the Hawehuis for a very neat, beautifully furnished apartment. Surely there can't be a better view. The various small extras (easter eggs) made it very special and is highly appreciated. Normally those you forget at home. We felt so welcome. Will definitely recommend to others and we hope to be back soon.
