Annie's flat is part of 3 units (Annies, Fagans and Erika) on private property. The units are rented out separately, but can also be rented out as a whole. Each unit is self-contained, and Annies has an under roof stoep with its own braai on wheels so that you can move it to any part of the garden you like. Lower down in the garden is another braai area under the trees.
The double bedroom has a double bed, and the living area has 2 single bed divans, which is your couches by day and beds by night, making it ideal for couple, or a family of up to 4 people.
The kitchen area forms part of the living area and has a frige/deep freeze combination, a 2- plate stove and oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, and all the utensils you might need. There is also coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, sunlight liquid, and a container with rusks.
The TV is connected to a dish and has an OVHD decoder. Guests can bring their own decoder to watch DStv.
There is also fast unlimited fibre Wi-Fi as well as a UPS to ensure Wi-Fi during loadshedding.
The bathroom has a toilet, washing basin and shower. Toilet paper and liquid soap are provided.
The big fynbos garden gives a tranquil atmosphere, is ideal for bird watching and connecting with nature. Some parts of the garden has limited sea views, and you can hear the ocean well, especially at night.

The house was clean and cosy. Everything necessary was available. There was no secure parking, but the area seemed to be very safe, and I did not worry much about my car. All in all, I enjoyed my stay there.
We really enjoyed it. This place is ideal for a small family. I will definitely go again.
Very good location and nice place to visit.
We had a great time, the owner Anna-Marie moved us to a slightly larger apartment, Fagans. The location is central, because L'Agulhas is around the corner and you can make a day of driving through to Arniston, De Mond and Bredasdorp.
There was work I had to do in Struisbaai and I really enjoyed the stay. Fate has shortchanged us greatly.
Stay was very nice, enjoyed the weekend.
Unfortunately, Annie's is in need of some renovation. There is mold on the bedroom wall and on the fridge seals.
Was disappointed. Place needs a good paint for sure. Cabinets in hallway and kitchen do not look good. Novilon in kitchen already gone through and needs a good cleaning. No anti-theft or security gate. Place not fenced and sits near road. Which makes it easy for theft. Place smells musty and is stuffy. Must add, the cutlery, pots, stove etc. was neat and clean. Also bed linen and towels. But the worst was the braai area under trees that was pointed out to us. It looks bad there. They made no effort to clean it. Then under leaves. Chairs filthy dirty and full of spider nests underneath. Furthermore, everything is full of bird droppings. Frying pan never cleaned. Old ashes and coals already rained down in bowl. Which shows me that it's been a long time since anyone has barbecued there. The whole garden needs attention. Could see no effort being made. Annie's is indeed affordable, but feel owners could do more to make it pleasant for their guests. Will not visit them again unfortunately.
Just feel the garden and courtyard could be tidied up a bit.
Terrible bad smell, floors everywhere have trip hazards, very stuffy and creepy. Old washed towels that you wouldn't even use on the floor, and they put them out for guests.
Annies offers everything you need, walking distance from the beach, shops and harbour. Quiet environment, a nice place!
Conveniently situated close to beach and shops. Our old bones found the couch-beds a bit uncomfortable. On the other hand the double bed was comfortable and we slept well.

Looks much better in photos than it was. Needs attention, and paintwork all around. Kids could not play on grass as it was full of thorns. The sitting area under the tree lapidated and we did not trust it to sit there. Our first encounter with the host on the phone was very hostile as we apparently missed her call on where to collect the keys (no missed call on my side) The man who brought the keys was very nice.
Very neat and tidy. Perfect spot for an affordable getaway.
I would just suggest that the owners have a look at replacing or servicing the gas geyser. When the pilot is on, there is a very strong gas type smell which isn't pleasant, especially when showering. Otherwise no other complaints.
Was rainy and windy, spent more time in the house, but still enjoyed about everything being comfortable in the house.
We took our little dogs with us. Luckily they are pretty sweet and didn't roam around even though the yard isn't fenced.
Annie's is simple and cheap so a great place if you are on a budget. It is well stocked and has a lovely garden. The area is safe and the beach is a 10-minute walk, across quite a busy road but still close. The shops are close. There are no views but we walked everywhere and the kids had fun in the road.

Centrally located. Parking was a problem with our van. The parking and braai area is very wooded and overgrown. It felt safe to use the braai area. Places' paint and number from the street could perhaps be updated a bit. No WiFi available. Furthermore, we had a nice stay, everything we needed is available.

The facilities are ideal for a holiday. Simple but nothing lacking.
For the price it is worth it.
I enjoyed my stay in Annie's. The lovely, tree-rich yard offers favorable opportunities for relaxing, reading books and drinking coffee. It is very conveniently located and walking distance from the beach and shopping centre. Kitchen is well equipped and TV well placed that you can even watch from the shower (if you are tall enough).

Upon arrival I could see the kitchen wasn't cleaned properly. Dust on the floor and dirty cupboard and fridge door. I swept the floor and wiped off the marks on the doors and handles. I did inform the person in Struisbaai. One divan base was cracked but they did repair it. Maybe the owner can just clean the yard a bit. I don't know if it is the character of the place but it looked sort of not well looked after. What we complained about was looked after. The next door Fagan's looked quite lovely. I would stay there again if they would just make sure that all is fine. Thanks.
Very primitive but neat and clean.
The place has everything needed. However, it needs urgent attention. There is no shower curtain. The gas geyser is not very safe as one has to leave a window or door open for "safety". We were told to wash dishes in a bucket instead because there was a problem with the drainage. Although the place was clean when we walked in, the smell of barbecue from the previous people still hung in the place. This smell stayed with us until we left.
Never saw the hostess. Place is clean, but the parking is inconvenient.
We had a great time and we were able to take our boy (Krummel, a Yorkie) with us.
We were four people and thoroughly enjoyed it, everything was comfortable and available in Annie's. We will definitely use the nice place again.
It is a neat apartment. There was coffee, sugar and delicious biscuits to welcome us. The bathroom amenities were also provided and that was quite a surprise. Very nice stay. Environment is quiet and peaceful and walking distance to beach and shops.

Stay was good. The hay fever trees were a disaster for my family and the house was full of the tree seeds 24/7.
The house needs a good cleaning. As guests are not allowed to smoke inside, they could consider putting ashtrays outside. The garden chairs couldn't be used as they were dirty.

Shops are very close. It is a peaceful area and everything you need is in the place. The unit has soft beds. It is close to the sea, with a beautiful view and the owner is very friendly and helpful! LekkeSlaap is also great! They give you all the information you need and have an assistant who handles your booking personally as well. The owner is available 24 hours if anything is needed. It has everything you need in the kitchen, but the building needs attention. Gas hot water cylinder did not provide any hot water and had to take a cold water shower otherwise the whole place smelled of gas. Although it is well located, I feel I could get more value for my money.

Annie's is very old. The place could definitely use some updating, especially considering the cost of accommodation. It's very clean. The beds are uncomfortable and the geyser leaks gas. The yard was dirty and the "septic tank" gave off a fairly strong smell. Would we stay there again? No.
We stayed there over Christmas and New Year and had a wonderful time. The closeness of the beach and shops was great, never had to use the car except for tours to Black Oystercatcher and Arniston.
The service was friendly and there is everything one needs in the apartment. Nice stay!
