Neat chalets. Friendly owners, rooms are clean and large. Small kitchen with fridge. Restaurant at the lodge is nice and not too expensive. They are happy to help arrange a visit to a Himba village nearby.
Ann's Self-Catering exceeded all our expectations. It's a gem in remote Kamanjab. Ann is a wonderfully hospitable and helpful hostess who immediately makes you feel at home. We stayed in a self-catering cottage and it was beautiful, stylish with luxurious bed and bedding and an amazing kitchenette in a cupboard. I would absolutely recommend it.
Very neat units with a nice stoep and braai area. Small kitchen also well equipped. Very friendly reception. Would love to have ice cubes in freezer. New restaurant on site under construction.
The water pressure was very low on the upper campsite and this may need attention. Access by outside parties is possible and can be a concern, even if it is a remote location.
The website's prices were not correctly passed on to us and we had to pay an additional R500 on arrival. The cottage smelled of smoke and as neither of us are smokers it was not very pleasant.
