This is a beautiful guesthouse. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, as was the domestic lady. This is a very professionally run establishment. The only small downfall is the vehicles park in front of the guesthouse just off the road so you are a little insecure.

We stayed at Arniston Guest House one night as we had a wedding to attend just outside of Arniston. Thelma was very friendly and accommodating from the start. Although we booked a double room that would share a bathroom, she offered us an extra room with its own bathroom that was available. The rooms are very neat and have everything you could want. There is also a small bar with an honesty bar. The breakfast at the joint breakfast table was very nice and cozy and there were wonderful conversations. Would definitely recommend Arniston Guest House. Thank you very much Thelma for all your extra effort.

Arniston Guest House is a charming stone house just a hop and skip from the beach. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is however the endearing Kassies Bay duo, Elize and Christine, who stole the limelight. Elize (interim manager) and Christine (chef) were the reason we didn't want to leave the breakfast table, long after our teacups went cold, with their anecdotes about Arniston and Kassies Bay. Arniston Guest House is filled with charm, inside and out.
Thelma's hospitality and warm welcome made our weekend special. We couldn't have celebrated our 33rd anniversary at a better place. The privacy and knowing that the hostess was close by was assuring. Within walking distance from the beach but protected from the wind and the masses of people. Will recharge our batteries here again!

I had a lovely room with an outside door, which was lovely in the heat. Thelma, the hostess, put a lot of effort into breakfast and the omelette and fruit salad deserve mention. The laundry is included in the price and was very handy. I would stay there again anytime, although I think the accommodation is quite expensive. However, there was no fault to be found with the service and the room.

The owner was clearly mortified by the error and attempted to appease us and make the best of an unpleasant situation.
