We really enjoyed our stay, lovely hot shower facilities. Owner mentioned that they are working on improvements, would suggest putting plates and cutlery in the self-catering unit and a small piece of cloth on which to make something quick. There is also no sink in the kitchen area to rinse anything, have to do it in the bathroom. For overnight accommodation only for us it was 100% as we didn't need all the stuff. Parking is plentiful with an electric fence. Will definitely stay there again - affordable and clean.
Slept very well and comfortably.
1. There are no utensils. 2. They provided half a toilet roll for the whole weekend. Poor quality toilet paper. 3. There is all the time light shining from the other room/living unit into your room and lighting up your entire room. It is the owner's daughter who lives there. The dog (Montie) barks all the time. 4. There is loud music and noise. 5. You get a duvet and one polar fleece blanket to sleep under. It's not enough. 6. The carpet in the unit was extremely dirty. 7. The TV's remote does not work. 8. All the bedding, towels are old and ugly.
The hostess was willing to make one or two favors upon request and since we had to recharge equipment during load-shedding, helped us out with a generator when needed.
We felt at home and slept well. What more is one looking for? It's clean and has everything you need for an overnight stay. We forgot our bank card there and the hostess drove up behind us to return it to us. 100% recommended!
Room is spacious and bathroom adequate. Would have liked to have seen a bit more crockery (a plate or two) and cutlery. I brought takeout from home, but nothing to eat with.
Very good service, we were surprised with the cleanliness, everything we expected was there and in working order, everything was clean and new. Bed linen, towels clean and fresh. Kettle with coffee facilities, small fridge etc. And it's animal friendly, so our baby woof could go along. Thank you very much, we will definitely stay there again.
The lady put the heater on for us earlier in the day as it was cold. Place is very neat although they are still busy with restoration. Don't like negative criticism on the websites because people's businesses are affected. Although we wanted to make coffee there were no teaspoons. Coffee was the usual cheap quality and there was no milk. Short space to hang your clothes in the room and space to place things in the bathroom. Sorry it's not self catering. Discussed it with her and believe they will take care of it. Will use the overnight rooms again.

Power went out at 11:00 p.m. My husband has sleep apnea and has to sleep with a machine. Didn't know if it was load shedding. 3am it was still off and decided to drive as we couldn't sleep. Owner does not live on premises.
