I stayed there for a week. It was home away from home! The host and hostess quickly make you feel part of a family. Very nice and hospitable. This will be my preferred stay in Christiana in the future.

The owner moved me to a bigger room without asking. We only booked one day instead of 2, and they were more than willing to help us.
We found a necessary resting place on the way between Pretoria and the North Cape. We arrived after dark and left before light, so could not appreciate the surroundings or use the facilities. Everything was clean and tidy. Hostess made an effort to make sure that everything was right on arrival and even came to turn on the lights for us.

Lovely stay, beautiful environment. The units need a bit of an upgrade. Aircon was not working. Tap in kitchen damaged. Door handle missing in unit 1.
There is no signage outside indicating the location. Rooms were not ready, workers were still making beds. We were not informed about the load shedding times even though I inquired, also had to ask for the WiFi code. Place was neat and clean. Was a bit disappointed.
Location and facilities along the river prevent even staying a few days for people who like a peaceful natural environment.

The unit was clean and tidy and has a nice big TV screen with Netflix. All that bothered was that our hosts were not expecting us, even though we received the email confirming our reservation. Fortunately, there was still an open room available.

It's a picture-perfect environment, everything was clean and tidy and the people very helpful and hospitable.
We arrived late and Ettienne arranged very nicely with us and followed up again to make sure we were ok. Would definitely like to sleep there again. We slept in the caravan and everything was very nice and clean. Very nice place, friendly people.

We literally looked for a place 4 hours ahead of time. We were immediately helped and given a beautiful room. It's a very nice property and the hostess, Alta, is very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely place to relax on a weekend.
We arrived late. No one to open gate, phone number we called was unsuccessful, but we were eventually received very warmly. I suggest an alternative contact number or an intercom at the gate perhaps?
Sitting by the river and seeing what was happening there, like herons fishing, was a highlight.
I came over for a parkrun. The accommodation was as expected. The river in the back yard was a cherry on top. I will recommend this place and would definitely stay here when the opportunity presents itself.

Hardly room to move around the bed. Kitchen without a work surface on which one can make tea. No space to put things down in the bathroom. Still clean and dogs very exciting.

We were warmly welcomed even though we arrived too early. The unit is tidy with everything you need. My husband immediately walked down to the river for a nice fishing and barbecue afternoon while I was endlessly entertained by the dog children. This tranquility must be experienced! Alta and her husband were super friendly and I will definitely stay there again.

They equipped the caravan with everything and more. Games for the kids and a radio to listen to. The dogs were the cherry on top. Enjoyed the dogs very much. Cute and well trained.
We got excellent service. We got the place easily, we were greeted with friendly people and the family dog, Wally. The accommodation was more than expected. We brought along more than we needed to, seeing that everything was already there. It was a joy to stay at Asame, and we will definitely go there again.
