Kamer was netjies. Self-catering was communal and located inside main house. Unable to use towels due to bad odour. Breakfast menu very limited and the same daily. WiFi too weak for video/conference calls.
I had a very unpleasant stay. The accommodation was not what we expected. The host seemed unprepared for guests. The establishment was untidy, the room was small, and noise from the cars driving up and down the main road could be heard during the night. Additionally, there was no drinking water in the bedroom for my daughter and me to use. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience for us.
Will definitely recommend them.

For the price I would expect at least DSTV premium and a fridge. A shared fridge and living room is not acceptable at this price. The high stairs to the upper floor were practically inaccessible to us elderly people. We were not aware that there were upper rooms and that we had to request in advance for a room on the ground floor. The room, bathroom and bedding were clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We were very kindly welcomed by the young French student. The breakfast was deliciously prepared by a lovely lady.
Very neat, friendly staff. Although, warm breakfast only served at 07:30 which makes it impossible when you have to attend a full-day conference. Self-service cereals and coffee were still available from 07:00. The accommodation will be ideal for families, private rooms but spacious communal areas where everyone can mingle.
The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and very pretty. Service was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. Really a special B&B at affordable prices!
A gem around the corner from Groote Schuur Hospital.
When I'm in Cape Town again, this B&B will be my accommodation, make no mistake.
We booked into Villa Garda as it is close to the Two Oceans start and finish. We were welcomed by friendly staff and owner. Our room was neat, clean and felt homely. We had an amazing weekend at this place. Thank you and we will be back in 2016!
