Love the place. The area is nice and close to everything yet very quiet and peaceful inside the premises.

The guest house's rooms are very nice clean and everything working and in place, we had no complaints, we were given a voucher for breakfast in the town, it suited us for sure because we could go later, would recommend as a place to stay .

The B&B was fine, nothing wrong other than being able to hear the next door room and quite a bit of truck noise. Given the price, the stay was value for money and our guest felt safe.
If only staff can check if everything is in place before guests arrive, everything will be 100% perfect.

The large scale bath in the room was lovely, the cold stones around it were not the greatest to walk over in the cold winter - I can imagine this to be lovely in summer though. The cold shower tap was extremely difficult to open, I couldn't open it for my evening shower when my husband was already sleeping (piping hot water shower was rough). He was able to open it with all his might in the morning. One of the bedside lamps did not work. The one pillow had black marks across it. The dark wood furniture and quality bedding are lovely, however, the above issues contributed to the stay not feeling worth the spend, we were expecting a bit more especially from the honeymoon suite.
Really nice 3 days stay. Few comments, first night sat for hours without any power, later had to ask for candles. Apparently the first time that the emergency power does not work, but earlier feedback and information from the owner would have helped. Sink next to bath needs good scrubbing, black tack on bottom. TV channels do not offer any SA rugby or cricket channels.

Peaceful garden setting. Room 5 is spacious with interesting decor. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of dishes. The guesthouse is centrally located.
The bath in the sleeping area with loose stones and tiles is really nonsensical.
Bali Biasa is a beautiful place. Had a wonderful sleep in their very comfortable beds. Everything was nice and clean and tranquil.
Like a little oasis conveniently located near the main road and shopping. Surprisingly quiet peaceful with palm trees that make you feel like you are on an island. The room was luxuriously equipped with nice dark furniture, aircon, TV and fancy small fridge. The massive bathroom will delight any woman.

Don't need lots of luggage, then there isn't enough space to get around. Nice large bathtub and if you book there you shouldn't plan anything else so that you can sleep late and enjoy the delicious breakfast.
Incredibly friendly and they gave us such a warm welcome! The breakfast coupon was ideal seeing as how we wanted to leave early next morning already. Will definitely recommend it to others and also stay at Bali Biasa ourselves again!

Excellent I booked the whole family there for our mother's day weekend. The service was great, very helpful and the units are very well equipped. The breakfast was something special, everyone really enjoyed it. The owner and her staff are friendly and helpful and you can see that everyone there knows what is expected of them. Thank you very much for a wonderful overnight accommodation will definitely recommend it to people who want to spend the night in Piet Retief.
We enjoyed our stay but found the staff noisy outside our window in the afternoon.
We would stay here again anytime. The decor is beautiful, everything is clean, tidy and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We had the "budget room", was very affordable and the quality exceeded my wildest expectations. Everything was perfect and just what we needed!
Bali Biasa is a good place, however I didn't like the aspect of having breakfast outside Bali Biasa.
Photos on the internet creates a completely different picture. Large bathtub takes up all the space. We prefer a shower. We only received two small bags of milk, which was only enough for one cup of coffee or tea.
A good night's rest after a long day's drive.
The area is quiet with a beautiful garden of which we took lot of pictures.
We slept very well, and will make our visit a little longer next time.
