Will not stay here again. Booked 2 rooms. The luxury room was for our 3 adult children. Additional bed had not yet been brought in, and room carpet was clearly not vacuumed and empty soda bottle was standing next to the bed.
I enjoyed my time. The location was perfect. The host was very accommodating. Definitely a home away from home. Hope to return soon.
We had a wonderful time.
Thatched roof. Beautiful view, felt like we were in the forest. Bath is in the room along with a heated towel rail. But there is a large clean shower in the beautiful large bathroom. Bed linen and towels were clean. Large television. Bar fridge, kettle, microwave, tea, flour, sugar, coffee and mugs, as well as soap, hand cream and shampoo. Small porch that has a beautiful view. There was nothing that could be found wrong. Thank you very much for a lovely overnight stay and breakfast.

Many places say they are your home away from home, few live up to that assumption. Bankenveld House Bed and Breakfast can really say that. What a wonderful week we've had. Lance they carried us on their hands. Would recommend Bankenveld House Bed and Breakfast to any person.

Lance and Elsa are an excellent host and wife! Nothing is too much trouble and they simply spoiled us with an unexpected dinner. The room was spacious and the bedding of good quality. Guests cannot help but feel at home and welcome.
Unfortunately, our hostess was ill and the breakfast was not ready as agreed. So we had to drive without breakfast to keep our appointment (the reason for our visit). On a positive note, I would like to conclude by saying that the beds made for a good night's sleep, which is important for any traveler.

First visit and stay in Krugersdorp. Will definitely use them again and recommend anytime. Close to the golf course which was our reason for staying.
What a pleasant surprise that was. From the moment we took our first steps into the entrance hall we were welcomed with open arms. The place is neat and the rooms are extremely spacious. You don't get a feeling at all that the walls are going to squeeze you. My colleague and I each stayed in a luxury room because we had a work function nearby. With the result that we were only back just before midnight. The whole place and premises did not make us as two women feel unsafe at all and Elsa was kind enough to keep us a pack of snacks in case we were still hungry. Breakfast was nicely fragrant and served hot, with a delicious cup of cappuccino. The only negative thing I might mention is that the boiler needs a cleaning. He was very busy inside and I didn't feel comfortable making coffee in the room at all. But overall I will definitely check in with them again if I need a place to stay in the area.

We stayed overnight on a Saturday night. Positive: 1. Good breakfast, but nothing outstanding. 2. Secure premises with peaceful garden. 3. Balcony with view was pleasant, very dilapidated. Negative: 1. Completely different room than the photo of the room we booked. I would not have booked this room if I had been shown candid photos. 2. Moldy shower needs a decent cleaning. 3. Old carpet with ugly marks, old furniture, the paint peeling off the wall. 4. Incredibly dark and lighting is inadequate. 5. Sheets are old and worn out. 6. There was a 21st party held in the guest house below our room with DJ music playing loudly. We were not warned in advance of this that there would be a function. The music was turned down at 10.30pm after we complained about it. 7. We were not provided with any luxury items e.g. the towels were small, no drinking water in the room and the coffee station was out of stock.

Safe and friendly.
We had a lovely time at Elsa’s. She is an absolutely delightful host and went out of her way to make us comfortable, including a wonderful breakfast accommodating dietary preferences, which was very much appreciated. The rest of the team are incredibly friendly as well and lovely to chat to. Lots of friendly pets on site for animal lovers! There’s also a private hiking route but unfortunately we didn’t have the time to try it, but no regrets there, as just the stay at the B&B itself was very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for.

The most wonderful owners who make you feel at home as soon as you step in. Room was spacious and luxurious, view from the porch outside the room is very beautiful and it is so peaceful and quiet there. Would recommend anyone to stay the night there and we will definitely go back there again.

Thank you very much, as usual everything was very neat and clean.
Enough lighting in the room. The bathroom forms part of the room. Double open door that lets in fresh air. There is no air conditioning, but a standalone fan in the room. I did not watch television, so will not be able to give feedback on package. Very spacious room. With loadshedding there is a generator, which is absolutely fantastic! Friendly owner and staff. The guesthouse fits the owner's flamboyant nature! I don't sleep much in Krugersdorp, but will go back to Bakenveld again.
Owners are fantastic people. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the place is very beautiful. I would say their main focus is on their functions and not quite the BnB itself. But other than that it was incredibly fun.

Would recommend this accommodation to friends and family! Felt looked after and safe. Elsa and staff were very helpful. The only negative is that after my first day, the coffee beans ran out and for the remainder of my stay of three days, there was no decent coffee in the mornings. A necessity in my life.

The decor at Bankenveld House B&B is gorgeous, the hospitality was great, the spa bath so spacious and great for sore muscles. And just relaxing in the fluffy gowns was just what we needed for a quiet break away from our busy family and jobs!
We have stayed at a few B&B's but this was by far the best experience. Such hospitality does not come easily. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Bankenveld house bed and breakfast was a perfect getaway, we went there for our anniversary and Tienie and Karen really made it very special for us. the food was exceptional and the room was very comfortable and stylish. I do not have one complaint and i will go back in a heartbeat. You feel like you are in the middle of no where and this enables you to take a deep breath and relax. It is a small B&B and this ensure's special attention and privacy.
