Host was very accommodating and helpful.
Clean, fluffy bedding. Dinner in aunt Elmarine's farm kitchen, which she prepares and serves herself. Home-baked breads were winners!
Except for the friendliness of the hostess, very disappointing. Shower and toilet facilities were dirty and unacceptable. There were not even teaspoons or glasses in the kitchen. The casserole tray that was put in front of the door the next day leaked like a sieve. We could accept primitive but not gross. Got much better amenities for the same and less money.

We had a nice stay in the backpackers room. Everything was clean and tidy. Shower water was nice and hot and enough. What is not on the website is that the kitchen, above and a half microwave oven (which is on the website) has a kettle, braai dish and cutlery. There is no fridge, as mentioned on the website.
Very pleasant stay with very friendly people.
Stayed in Lekke, but there are definitely better alternatives either in town (if you want) or closer to the gorge with the rough nature (if you want it).

Our hostess, Elmarine, was very professional and friendly at all times. We enjoyed delicious meals around her dining room table. The accommodation was basic but perfect for our needs for the one night. Unbelievably beautiful environment!
