We can highly recommend Beach Castle. The location really couldn't be better. The apartment is modern and comfortable and excellently equipped with everything guests could possibly need. We couldn't name a single thing that was lacking. The bed is comfortable and both the bed and the bedding are of high quality. The relaxation room is spacious and the furniture is well placed and comfortable and sturdy. The indoor grill also works great. We also received the apartment spotlessly clean and we were received very generously. The four stars instead of five for safety is only for the fact that a garage was not available, but fortunately this is not a problem for us, given the fact that Stilbaai is a very safe town. The WiFi struggled somewhat, but I suspect this was not due to the internet reception from Beach Castle, but rather to an internet cable connection between South Africa and Europe which was down during the period of our visit there.

Apartment is comfortable, with everything that was needed. All that is perhaps missing is a stoep dakki in front of the apartment where you can sit outside and watch the sea.

Excellent location to experience the character of Stilbaai. Very well equipped with everything needed, beds deliciously soft after a day's travel with even hot water bottles and extra blankets for a cold night in the winter! Only complaint is that we didn't stay longer!

Beach Castle has a beautiful view with private parking, barbecue area, and a full DStv package. For cold winter days there is an electric blanket on the bed, extra blankets and a heater. The bathroom has a shower and bath with bath and swimming towels provided. Enough storage containers and cutlery in the kitchen with a washing machine for your laundry. The living room is tasteful which connects in an open plan with the kitchen and 4-seater dining table. The indoor braai is sheltered from the wind with another 6-seater table and chairs.

Beach Castle is well-appointed and the location is great, right by the beach! I was a little disappointed because the one room had 2 single beds, while I booked for 2 rooms for couples. Fortunately, we did not mind because we only stayed for one night. It was not really a problem, just something for the future). The place is spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed our time. Spacious main bedroom and quite a big bathroom. Even though there's just one bathroom, a family of 4 can stay here comfortably. Balcony with enough space to have a good time, with built-in braai on the balcony. Beautiful view of estuary and ocean! A 50 m walk to the beach. We were very warmly welcomed. Strongly recommended!

Communication via e-mail was not answered. Requested to arrange cot, which was not provided at the time. Was a bit inconvenient as there was no place to sleep for our baby. The unit is very spacious and otherwise well appointed. Generally very tidy, but in some places there were cobwebs and dust. The kitchen is very well equipped and made it easy for us to prepare meals there. Perfect location and view. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely come back, but next time just bring our own baby cot.

Beach Castle is exactly what it claims to be on the website. It's perfectly located opposite the beach and has lovely living space with a veranda that overlooks the length of Stilbaai's beaches. Well equipped kitchen. We felt at home and had a wonderful stay. The type of place where you can stay for 2 weeks without getting bored.

Beach Castle is really what no name says. A beautiful place with everything you need. It feels like your own home and is spotless and tidy with good quality appliances. The furniture and decor are beautiful and the location and view are the best. We also experienced it as a safe environment and could go for a nice walk. The Jordanians are very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely go to Stilbaai again and stay in the exact same place. I would happily recommend the Beach Castle.

The unit was clean and it had everything you need, as if you were at home. Even our friends who have stayed in other holiday flats before, remarked that this place really had everything you could possibly need, so you don't really need to bring anything along. We stayed in unit 4 and it was fantastic, all that bothered me was the fact that there was no gate. Anyone could enter the stoep and bedroom.

The unit is very well equipped. Everything was neat and clean. The host even gave us a fan to use in the unit. Stunning view from the unit and you can even hear the sound of the ocean as you lay in your bed. No gate infront of the sliding door, so it is difficult when you have small children, because you have to keep an eye on them at all times. But otherwise there were no issues and we had a good time. We will definitely be back.

The unit was very dirty, we had to scrub the showers before we could use them, the floors were gritty and weeks of dust visible. The place needs good maintenance. Kitchen cupboards are abnormally high and you have to balance yourself on a chair to get to the crockery. We have been travelling through South Africa and this was a disappointing experience.
