51 guests' feedbackA piece of paradise! The view is indescribable, and the sound of the waves is so beautiful. The house is very nicely furnished, with everything one needs. Soft towels, comfortable beds and plenty of extra blankets. Even closer to the beach than it looks in the photos. We will definitely want to go again.
It was wonderful. It's neat, everything is in its place and the people I've worked with are great. I will book again soon and go there often.
Beach Haven is right on the beach, with no houses obstructing the view. The sound of the sea is perfect for someone like me who has trouble sleeping! The house is fully equipped with everything one could want. Beautiful cutlery and china, and a dishwasher. When we arrived, there was a pit bull terrier laying on the sidewalk next to the front of the house. I immediately expressed my fear, the host promised he would address the matter with the neighbors, and we never saw the pit bull again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beach Haven Cottage. Stunning views, perfectly located. The beach is on your doorstep. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you would need. Comfy beds and lounge area, clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend it for a little family getaway.

All that was missing was a shovel for sweeping up sand. Other than that it was perfect.

This house was really lovely. Sea is on our doorstep and dog kids could just walk down steps and have fun on the beach. The house is neat and well equipped with all the necessary things. The host was friendly and accommodating. The house was perfect for two couples and two small dogs. The sliding door to the verandah could not be locked and unlocked from the outside - the handle/lock needs replacing. One of the best beach stays that we have experienced and the sunsets were excellent.

Beach Haven is an incredibly neat house, the perfect getaway for a weekend or a longer vacation. The view from the house and from the veranda is breathtaking, the location is perfect, just a few steps and you are on the most beautiful beach. The house itself has everything you need and is very tidy. The reception was also very friendly. We will definitely visit Beach Haven again.

Soul food basically sums it up.
The location was amazing; practically on the beach. The house has pretty much everything you need and is clean, tidy and comfortable. I could sit on the stoep all day long and watch beach life passing by. We even got to see some seals playing around. The sound of waves puts you to sleep at night. Very relaxing stay. The area is stunning. St Helena Bay (10 minutes away) has at least 2 supermarkets and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Vredenburg is only 30 minutes away if you miss big town living.

I would love to stay there for a whole week, it's comfortable and pet friendly which is always a bonus.
We booked for a weekend and tried to stay a bit longer, but was already taken, one can see why once rarely finds a treasure so close to the beach. Will definitely return again.

Was heerlik om op die stoep te sit en na die golwe te luister. Het walvisse en dolfyne gesien. Was rustig en pragtige uitsig gehad. Die huis was skoon en netjies. Als was net awesome.

Were warmly received by Duncan. Complimentary Darling Toffees, rusks and milk was a nice, surprising touch. House very clean and has everything required for self-catering. Comfortable sofas a big plus. We had a peaceful and fantastic two days just relaxing, listening to the sound of the waves and watching the fishing boats go pass. Walks on the beach - what more can one ask for to de-stress from the busy city life. My teenagers said it was a good choice and they enjoyed the two deck chairs on the veranda. Safety was not an issue at all. In our view this is one of the best in the area.
This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. It offers all the crockery and cutlery that you need. The living area is spacious and comfortable - perfect for a family of 4. It is situated on a beautiful beach allowing you to keep an eye on the kids from the cottage while they are playing on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would loved to have stayed longer!

Skoon, netjies, gemaklik en oop. Die huis het ruimte en uitsig. 30 tree tot op die strand met geen obstruksies. Die strand is wyd, stil en ongerep. Die aande buite is beslis iets om te beleef. Ons sal wel weer en weer kom kuier.
This house is fully furnished - maybe only an air conditioner or fan could be installed. Everything was neat, clean and the bedding was fresh and soft. The view is fantastic and it's probably only 30 meters then your feet are in the sea. The garage was full of the owner's belongings, so the vehicle had to be parked outside. Maybe the lane could be trimmed a little. I would definitely like to go back there again.

Literally equipped with everything you need for a fantastic holiday. Spotless (that's very important), quality linen, private, stunning sea view etc. And the little things made all the difference - the coffee, sugar, milk, etc. Can't wait to visit again!
