The 2 apartments can either be booked separately or as a whole. The first apartment, Ebb Tide, is situated on the top floor with the entrance on the north side. This self-catering apartment comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as a north-facing fully equipped kitchen. The lounge and the main en-suite bedroom lead onto a south-facing balcony which offers views of the river and river mouth.
Spring Tide apartment is situated on the ground floor, with the entrance on the east side. This self-catering apartment comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms, as well as an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. There is also a fully enclosed courtyard which is ideal for those who wish to bring their pets by prior arrangement.
Guests have access to selected DSTV channels and ample off-street parking for cars and boats. Laundry facilities are also available for stays longer than 7 nights. Each apartment has its own private entrance and braai area.
Witsand is a quaint village situated at the mouth of the Breede River, in the Western Cape. It is known for having the highest concentration of Southern Right Whales on the South African coast, and offers 4 km of white sandy beaches, magnificent Cape fynbos, and a myriad of water sports.

Just one concern was that we couldn't really use the balcony at night because of some black beetles being all over and even coming inside the house even with the windows and doors closed.
Very enjoyable and comfortable. The second bedroom has no electrical socket.

We arranged for late arrival, Anthea was very friendly and arranged accordingly. We arrived at our home, and it was clean and exceeded our expectations. Everything was 100% perfect, with very spacious rooms and a dining area. The view on the balcony! Whenever I called Anthea for help, she was always available to guide me. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Clean, tidy accommodation at an acceptable rate, especially if you are a larger group (eg 2 households) wanting to stay on one premises. Everything needed was available.
All our needs were met.
River chocolate. Fishing poor. Nature had its way the day before our arrival. Major floods.
Value for money. We were also well welcomed and were even able to check in earlier. The only criticisms are a few cobwebs inside the house, the chairs at the barbecue were not cleaned and the tiles at the entrance to the house's stairs are broken and some are gone. So you must tread carefully when entering and exiting. However, we had a nice stay.
Had a great time. Parking is no problem. Nice walking distance from everything. Friendly people. Would stay here again anytime.
You get exactly what you paid for. Well equipped, safe, neat and comfortable accommodation. We were 2 families with three kids under 10, who all enjoyed themselves immensely. Really close to all we were looking to do.
We would like to visit soon. It's definitely a must to visit Beachcomber in Witsand!
Aunt Anthea, thank you very much for the hospitality and kindness. It's a beautiful, pretty place with leather sofas and the full DStv package was again of course my wife's favourite. It was very nice and clean, a lovely visit and the extra service from auntie's side is really appreciated, the later is happy, as well as willing to get us a pot. Aunt is a good person. My brother and I were there at the weekend, very friendly service and everything we need is there. Very close to the harbor and not far from the beach either. Very good price for the location of the place and will definitely go back again soon.

We were close to the sea, had friendly people around us, could bring our woof with us and the place was very tidy. Will definitely be back again!
It was wonderful staying here. We did not expect such a nice, clean and spacious house for the price we paid. The view is beautiful and the house is well-positioned!
Very tidy and everything you need is there. A little negative criticism is just that the place needs some attention. Towel rail in the master bathroom is loose. Kitchen cupboard doors are hanging loose.
The accommodation is very well located and convenient for younger people. Would not recommend for older persons due to stairs to be climbed. The rooms are large and comfortable. With the winds blowing like this it is difficult to barbecue and quite unpleasant. A built-in braai will work well.
We were four adults and it was nice to have your own bathroom in your bedroom.

The place is very neat and is nice for families with children or without, there is enough space for everyone. Place is neat and clean and everything you need, it is also walking distance from the sea, very quiet and in a safe environment.
Our visit was wonderful, the house is neat and well equipped. The location is also perfect if you like fishing.
We booked Springtide @Beachcomber Holiday Apartments for a week to enjoy some fishing. The apartment was clean and kitted with all necessities. I would suggest taking all food and drinks that you might require for the duration of your stay as the shops in the town are expensive. All in all, we had an awesome time and would love to have stayed longer.
We would recommend the accommodation for family of 4 people, everything you need is there and the bedrooms are beautiful. We took our puppy with us and she was safe because everything is closed for them so they can't go out. We will definitely go back again. You near the Breë River and our son had great fishing. You are close to everything, don't have to drive far.
There were no blankets for unexpected cold, also only 2 face towels for stay from Friday to Monday. Communication could improve as we had to give the 50% cash on arrival and first go to an ATM. Bit of an embarrassment. There are one or two things that bothered. Would definitely recommend the stay.
