Luck is here to stay and if a guest house wants to stay in the game they have to provide for hot meals, hot plates, toast. This was not the case, I thought no one could make bacon and eggs bad, but that was the icing on the cake, food was extremely poor. No provision for load shedding has been made. Rooms neat, just very dark. Definitely will not stay there again.
We had road works in Namibia that held us up for a few hours and my husband informed them about it. When we arrived it was "loadshedding" and it's also always a problem when that happens as you go through the border with the fact that our sim cards don't work and we have to get one first. At nine o'clock in the evening, it is quite difficult to do that. Also due to "loadshedding", we could not see street names. There are also very few streets with street names. Upon our arrival at the accommodation we were treated like lepers, they were rude and barely greeted. One would think that as guests, who paid immediately, one would be treated better. AA accredited? I think the AA needs to raise their standards. Nah, I'd rather sleep in my car than ever stay with them again. They really need to come and learn about hospitality and caring from the Namibians.

The lady who received us was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a surprise - very nice, clean and some of them had a private little garden. The large garden with the swimming pool was also clean and well maintained. We didn't eat breakfast so I can't judge it but otherwise I can recommend the accommodation to anyone.

When we arrived late Friday evening Marlene gave us a friendly welcome and booked us in quickly. The room offered so much more than we expected. Very clean, comfortable and neat. As we arrived, it was lovely to see that there was a secure area where our children would be safe from the road, and no unexpected visitors could come up to our door. The lift from the nearby shopping center was very much appreciated. The pool was crystal clear and very inviting. Our room was nice and private, with it's own outside seating area. Quality cottons and comfortable linen and bedding was noticed and very appreciated. The furniture was comfortable and clean. There were enough fresh towels, soap and lovely little extras like a complimentary large bottle of water, tea, coffee and milk. There was a kitchenette area that suited our needs and was well stocked with all the basic crockery and cutlery, a microwave and a fridge. We watched DStv, slept very well and were taxied, once again, back to the airport. I would like to add that I had asked if I may have a delivery sent to their premises, which was kindly agreed on. The delivery company, however, only dropped the parcel at BeMyGuest 5 minutes before the flight took off - I was exceptionally grateful and astounded when the ever helpful and friendly owner, Isabel Saunderson, rushed the package to me, and managed to have the flight attendant hand it to me, moments before take off! I will most certainly return to BeMyGuest in the future. I have also ordered a bunch of flowers for Isabel, to thank her for such exceptional service and for going above and beyond my expectations!
