We had a fantastic stay. I recommend it to anyone. The owner/manager is a very good and friendly person. You are tops.
Clean yard, too much decor in the yard makes it look like a creche. No shelter for vehicles. The mattresses in rooms 4 and 6 are below standard, and the bedding is unsightly. In room 4, the roof leaks when it rains. The shower drain needs servicing, and the shower door is very faulty (it can't close). The kitchen basin is in the bathroom.
The host is very helpful and has a pleasant personality.
The poodles and I were warmly welcomed and the management of the accommodation goes the extra mile for their guests. The pool is nice and clean and the garden with the interesting, humorous corners made me smile/laugh many times. In the evening I was greeted with a light show festival. It's good to still see in today's gloom around us that someone uses their creativity and gifts to lift and cheer others up. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend people, and stay here again.

When you stop at the Gate and you see the bicycles hanging in the trees you know you are entering an entertainment "zone". The owners are amazing and have " a sense of humour'. You can spend an hour walking around the garden, reading the homemade signage. One warning if you are easily offended and do not understand satire and political humour, just go by. Quinton, this place is a gem.
Well situated in a quiet suburb, the venue is well run in all aspects and the owner has his finger on the pulse at all times ensuring guests are happy and comfortable. Lovely gardens with lots of interesting objects D'Art scattered throughout. Rooms are clean and neat and serviced daily. Excellent stay will definitely make it the first port of call should I need to do more work in the area. Comes highly recommended.
Creative color schemes and "proverbs" ensure that this is an interesting experience. The owner went out of his way to make us feel at home.

There is no soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The TV didn't work. If you travel often, it's important that these things work!
Very good. I suggest that (even if self-catering) at least soap is provided. It may be a small thing, but normally it will be provided. Otherwise it was a good experience.
