Very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool a hit!
We had a nice stay with friendly staff. The meals were just way too expensive for what we got.
We upgraded from a campsite to a room. It was really nice and hospitable to hang out there for the evening. Dinner was very nice.
Stay was wonderful, with clean rooms, friendly service, nice hotel. We can highly recommend it.
Dorette and Lambert overwhelmed us with warmth and kindness. The service was excellent and the company informative regarding the environment, economic climate, farming, etc. Pray for rain to refresh people and animals.
Very friendly reception in a beautiful oasis. The room was painfully neat and beautifully decorated. The outside dining area and restaurant are beautiful. One feels really welcome here. The staff are all friendly and they go out of their way to make it special like the fireplace, the blanket with breakfast and the beautifully covered table and delicious breakfast. Our overnight stay was one of the highlights of our tour, and we can recommend the place without a doubt.

A stay that is highly recommended! We arrived late afternoon in a windstorm! Camping was not an option! Quickly, without any hassle, they accommodated us in the rooms! We enjoyed the stay, nice and clean rooms, warm water, friendly staff, and warm welcome! Will definitely come back again!
It is an ideal overnight stop on the way to the popular tourist destinations. Rural hospitality with friendly service and delicious home-cooked food.
First impressions were good. Extremely nice hostess (Doret). Experiencing some problems with air conditioner (in a hot 37°C Bethanie) but they went out of their way to solve the problem. Beautiful visiting area. All criticism is the cost of the meals. R180 for 2 chicken legs, 2 baby potatoes, a portion of rice and a portion of pumpkin, a dessert and 3 salads was a bit rough in my opinion (even for the two grandchildren aged 9 and 10). Breakfast at R120 for 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon, a Vienna sausage and a muffin was again expensive (in my opinion). But that it is a beautiful hotel, with extremely nice owners, is certain.
Nice place, kind people. Rooms were comfy and clean. Food was nice only when things on the buffet were finished they didn't refill it. We were perfectly on time, but had almost nothing to eat for breakfast. Dinner buffet had the same issue.
This hotel charges ridiculous prices. They see how much they can suck out of you. Bottled water costs e.g. double of the at Solitaire. Gin and tonic is more expensive than at a 5 star hotel in Cape Town. Corkage fees are more than best restaurants in Boland. No wonder they had no other guests. Avoid the place if possible.
A good place to stay over after a long day's journey. There is a lovely lapa where a wonderful breakfast and dinner is served. The pool was a big plus for us.
Lovely atmosphere, nice and clean rooms with AC. Perfect pool and pool area. Good food and friendly staff. An air of a time capsule in the common room. Even training facilities.

Johan and Luzanne spoiled us deliciously with a gemsbok pot and the most delicious dessert. This is a beautiful, neat stopover on the way to Sossusvlei from Luderitz.
Very neat and pleasant accommodation.
Owner gave key through the gate for security to take us to our room on our arrival. Except for a request, we never saw him again. No one in breakfast room to help - we had to go find someone! Floor was dirty, air conditioning off, ice cold coffee (probably the previous day's) No napkins (we asked) no bread (we asked) - and lukewarm breakfast! Totally unacceptable - and we had to pay for it!
