Stay was great.
The photos of the guesthouse were probably taken 15 years ago. The place is outdated with broken tiles, worn toilet seat and worn general appearance. The shower has no glass and is basically a shower head that comes out of the wall in the bathroom. This is not a modern version of a frameless shower. This is really not acceptable. The hair dryer couldn't be plugged in anywhere and on top of that the hair dryer handle was tough and sticky to your hand. Better pass, especially at the price.
The rooms are neat and beautiful. The premises are safe and well located. The swimming pool and braai facilities that are advertised were not shown to us, but you can find them if you look. The braai facilities were not usable.
Made us feel welcome. Sorry that we could not get the family room as booked.
Bettie is friendly and efficient, and the room and breakfast were great. It was a good place for a stopover.
Betty was very welcoming, the room was very clean, and we felt safe, and slept like babies. Betty was most helpful in finding out about our route to Malelane the next day and btw her rusks are the best. We definitely recommend Betty's Luxury Lodge and if we ever are up this way we will stay there again. Thank you, Betty.

Spacious and tidy overnight accommodation.
The lady I met there helping us and seeing that we are comfortable is a star. The cleaner also assisted us very politely and with love.
As a motorcycle chapter, we booked the place because it was close to the venue where the visit would be. Best decision. Place was neat, reception friendly and owners went out of their way to accommodate us all.

Place was dirty, bedside tables full of dust. Bathroom they are repairing, but not yet finished, faucet was loose, no grout between tiles and it's a really big moisture problem because there is no window. Sliding door's rollers to nothing because it brings only fresh air into the room, we opened the door with the help of a gardener, but couldn't close and lock it again for the rest of the weekend so it was very unsafe. Please fix mistakes before people sleep again.
Bettie went out of her way to make our stay comfortable! It was a chilly night, but she had warmed up our rooms and electric blankets were provided. We had initially booked a twin room, but in order to accommodate a long-term stay in the twin rooms, she upgraded us up to a queen room each at no extra cost!

Our stay was very comfortable. Our host graciously helped us an emergency concerning a dress as we were on our way to a nearby wedding. The curtain rail requires some minor maintenance as it comes undone, but otherwise everything else about the accommodation was very good.

Bettie and Wim welcomed us warmly. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the N1 without the noise. The facilities are very well looked after and beautifully clean.
The room was very neat and clean, and the aircon was a great relief on the hot Saturday we arrived. It was my husband's 40th reunion and it was so nice to have a remote for the gate. We socialised at the reunion until the wee hours of the morning and could return to a lovely place, without having to wake someone up to get in. It was a great idea to stay here.
We were able to park the fully packed car safely under cover behind gates (away from street eyes), the room was wonderfully warm with a working "aircon", blazing WiFi and full DStv (much to the relief of our little girl!). Very nice and clean with delicious biscuits and the breakfast can be recommended.

Electric blanket helped a lot at bedtime and panel heater kept room warm when it was well below freezing outside. Breakfast exactly as ordered.
Maybe just a little attention can be paid to the outside of the house such as the garage and the loose things at the exit of the gate. Furthermore, it was really nice to spend the night there.
