Located in Potchefstroom, Birdsview Guesthouse provides guests with spacious and comfortable accommodation with heat-and-eat facilities. The guesthouse consists of 12 rooms that can each accommodate 2, 3, or 4 guests at a time. The bedrooms are furnished with either a double bed and a single bed, a double bed and 2 single beds, a double bed only, or 2 single beds only. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower, or a shower only. Quality linen and towels are afforded to guests.

Each room includes a cosy kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each room features a TV with DStv and a ceiling fan. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, secure parking, a communal swimming pool, and a communal braai area.

"Very satisfied with our stay. Everything was perfect!"

What an amazing stay! The atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating, exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were tidy and comfortable with a unique charm, with everything we needed. We enjoyed the braai area a lot and they even provided us with all the necessary braai utensils. The host was very friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a pleasant stay. Will definitely book here again.

Quiet place. Brenda is very friendly, and we had a very nice stay. Nice playground too to keep small children busy.

The only problem was that there was very little water pressure in the upstairs units. The water or kettle, I'm not sure what the problem was, but it curdled the coffee.

No. There was no water available after 12 in our room. The water pressure was also very weak the whole time and you could hardly take a shower at all. The toilet didn't always want to flush because the little water that was available. The bathroom sink also worked minimally and could not be used at all, due to the weak water pressure. Definitely not worth the price for us.

We didn't get the room we booked. At least it had a double bed but was definitely for one guest. Just one set of towels, coffee, etc. She did bring us more towels, etc later that evening.

"Not happy at all."

Unfortunately, I can't give good ratings. The hostess wanted to change my room before booking in, she also mentioned to my club members that because I did not want to change rooms, she lost a huge booking. There is also no duvet in the rooms, only a blanket on the bed. I was also contacted by her regarding other units' breakages that she assumed I was a part of, she was rude and unfriendly. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so pack Tabbard.
