Our stay was excellent. Customer service and preparatory information received was excellent. The only thing missing was a written information package describing how to operate the TV and remote, a town map, a listing of restaurants, bars, shops, and things to do. We adore the somewhat 'historical rustic' and 'from the old days' living conditions. That is why we rented this 'OLD' cabin. The cabin is a nicely renovated old fisherman's house. We rented the cabin during mid-June, so in winter time, which meant relatively low temperatures. Bo Bakkies 1 is a very nice and cosy accommodation with splendid unobstructed sea views and well equipped with everything you need. Even a bag of braai wood, drinking water, and a small carton of milk was provided. As there was no electrical or gas room heating source available, we were dependent on having the wood-burning indoor braai going during the day and evening. The cabin has WiFi and a burglar alarm installed. Security is good. Parking is off the road but not gated. You get the odd 'hawkers' coming by shouting for your attention to sell their crayfish produce, etc. It could be a bit annoying at times. Overall, a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere as there is hardly any traffic. The cabin is close to some bars, restaurants, and a few 100m away from the Paternoster Waterfront area. We highly recommend the beachfront restaurant Gaaitjie (https://gaaitjie.co.za/).

Van aankoms tot vertrek was dit ongelooflik. Not just your average Paternoster accommodation. Has everything you need and more, even proper wine glasses. Very impressed. Just a note: Don't leave anything unattended outside or security gate unlocked. We live in South Africa.

First pitch not good. Dirty environment and feel unsafe. Parrot with rotten bait just outside fence. Parking on yard but on street. Very nice view. Nice braai place. Inside the unit it is neat, clean and comfortable. Nice bed. Fireplace asset for cold nights. Front door is very low and you tend to bump your head all the time. We had a nice stay. Agents only have to make sure that the garbage in the immediate vicinity of the cottage is clean when you arrive.
